I have to say I quite like these. They were easy to install, they didn’t damage my cupboards, and my twin toddlers pull on them quite violently all the time and they are still working great!

I used these locks specificalling in the bathroom on the cabinets and drawers where I keep my makeup, straightener, razor blades, cleaning products and other dangerous / messy / expensive bathroom items. The kids are always getting into this area and other childproof contraptions either didn't fit or work and so far so good. This product is nifty and took me a second to figure out bc ots not often that you see this so I was unfamiliar, but after trial and error of a few mo utes I was able to master installing them and they really work well so far. I was thinking I'd get them in the kitchen but I feel that it may get annoying to always use the key when cooking and cleaning - although there is a switch on the inside that disables the locking feature, so you could turn the locking off and then back on. Really smart product and quite simple concept. Very happy with this purchase!

These work great but instructions need work. No explanation of what off is and that if drawer is narrow with handle in center of drawer like most have, the lock has to be placed off to one side to allow enough room to slide magnet to unlock without running into drawer handle. Grandson was disappointed that he could no longer open drawers and unload them! Adhesive strips work very well after using alcohol to clean wood surfaces. Instructions show flat front cabinets not drawers. My drawers are 5" high with moulding all around them that is also an obstacle for the magnets.

This product has a great concept and honestly I'd give it 5 stars except I have a couple issues. First unfortunately these do not work on my cupboards, apparently my cupboard doors have some sort of magnetic metal inside that causes the latch to stay in the unlocked position (not an issue from the seller or the product itself, this is solely my issue by not knowing my "wood" cupboards have magnets inside). Second, the instructions suck. There are also no instructions for removing the locks. On another note the adhesive is STRONG! Which is a good thing, except in my situation where I need to remove the locks because they don't work on my cupboards (again not the products fault). I do suggest BEFORE installing the locks to take the little round key and place it against the inside of the cupboard door and frame and see if it sticks, if it does theres some sort of magnetic metal inside the door/frame and these will not work.

I bought these locks for kitchen cabinets because of my grandson wanting to open all of them and pull everything out. I did not want to have to use a lock that had to be screwed or nailed on. After watching my daughter trying to figure out how to attach them to the cabinet which was entertaining, I went on Amazon and read/watched how to do it. It was easy to install them and now the cabinet cannot be opened without a magnet - even by adults. I forget about the locks, try to open the cabinets and then remember there are now locks on them. Luckily the magnets on the refrigerator can be used since the ones I rec'd are not always put back in place. If you need to lock your cabinets these are great to use. When my daughter moves back to CA she will be able to take these with her. I would recommend these.

These are incredibly easy to install. No drilling holes in your cabinets but are strong enough to keep my little wrecking crew OUT! I found the instructions to be lacking but it doesn’t take long to figure it out. Be aware that you will have to retrieve the magnetic key every time you want to open a cabinet but it’s worth it. I can’t use these on my drawers because the cabinet front is mounted over the wood for the drawer box, making it too thick for the magnet to penetrate and do it’s job. FYI.

Bought these as a gift for a new mother. These are so much nicer than the ones I use when I had littles at home. Very easy to rub across to unlock and then push to close the door and they are already locked again. When my granddaughter was born the ones that were in the house was very similar but had to be be screwed into the wood. These seems much nicer, especially for a military family since they have a strong sticker to hold them in place. No damage to the door.
