Much better than expected
Compared to more traditional tampers (which I have), this works surprisingly well. It is light weight, which at first made me think it wouldn't work well, but to the contrary, the light weight makes it so much easier to handle - and most importantly seems to tamp really well. After all, it is the weight you exert on the tamp that does the tamping job as opposed to the weight of the tamper itself (I think). Great value for money.

I bought this because I wanted something with a little weight.... I have a chrome Pavoni machine and this goes well with it whereas the cheap plastic Pavoni one does not look good.

The best tamper I have ever used! The design is sturdy, easy to use, and looks great. Lightweight enough to not make your hand tired, but sturdy enough to tamper the coffee grinds in one push. Really fantastic tool for any coffee barrister, whether at home or in a restaurant.
