Well done metal pieces
I bought this on a whim. I like metal work and was curious. It turned out that I like this man's nature based works, very well done with lots of good pictures and technical recommendations on technique. As in the front picture, he does a lot of animals, which I also like. I am pleased with the purchase.

The Art of NATURAL METALWORK
Welding is a hobby of mine and I always have my eye out for new ideas. I thoroughly enjoyed this book looking at all the beautiful metal pieces that I have never seen before. Not sure I can duplicate any but liked it so much I'm giving a welding friend a copy.

Most inspirational
I got this book as inspiration for my husband. It is definitely that. I wish it might have been a little longer and the kindle version more magnified for easier viewing.

Most enjoyable
True craftsman both metal and words. Pleasing to eye and cerebellum . Work very linear, flows so elegantly across the page.

I recommend reading anything David Freedman writes
David Freedman has written a couple of articles for the O&MM Fabricator magazine. His descriptive writing and talent in the metals industry is astonishing. I recommend reading anything David Freedman writes!

Was expecting much more
Not what I was expecting per most of the reviews. While the pieces photographed are interesting the photography is poor. The paper quality and overall presentation of the book is not great. I’m hopeful the recipient of it finds value in the text.

Beautiful book and wonderful to hear the inner thoughts of an artist and fabricator with a natural instinct to give back to the land and integrate this into his artwork. It's inspiring and encourages me to explore my own relationship with the land. The settings are breathtaking and I'll have it on my list to visit some of the public sculptures.
