Little lad loved them.
Solid little toys that my little boy loved. That'd look good on display for anyone into collecting this type of thing.

Fantastically detailed construction vehicles
The media could not be loaded. This box set containing 2 x construction vehicles are superbly detailed and feel excellent quality. The presentation box is equally quality. The construction vehicles made from die cast metal and plastic have proper detailing and various bits are operational. The cement /concrete lorry has front wheels that move/steer so they can be set or played with to turn corners etc. The cement rotating drum mixer also spins and the rear concrete pouring guidance ramp can be swivelled. Sorry if I've got the terminology wrong lol. The vehicle is free wheeling so no pull back and go action. The crane also has operational knobs to operate the boom arm and crane and includes a weight to use with the hook /crane.The cab rotates around on the tracks and the tracks also move when you push the crane along. The tracks are a rubber material and flex with the track guides/cogs etcI would say that these vehicles are perfect for displays such is the quality of them and probably not something you'd want to give a child to throw around etc although they are playable and will provide a child with fun and enjoyment as well as education the price and quality is not something you'd want to waste your money on if your child throws it around or breaks it.My little boy is pretty careful with his toys and I've given these to him to play with and he loves them. He doesn't throw his stuff around much and plays with these in the manner which they're made and pushes them around the living room floor making sounds :-)I think when he's not looking though I'll put these on a display shelf because they are fantastic quality. The box that these come in is also excellent and not something you'd throw away tbh..... I will be keeping the box when I need to store these away.At just under £35 at time of review I'd say this is a nice price for 2 highly detailed, good quality construction models that either a responsible child will love or the bigger kid who loves vehicle models.Give as a gift or buy for yourself you'll love these and rather than call them toys I'd say they're more of a functional model that will look great displayed.

Outstanding Quality Makes For An Impressive Display
I order this set along with another of the same make but with different models for my five year old grandson but when I opened them and saw the quality and detail I decided to keep them myself for display with my other die-cast vehicles. It sounds a bit selfish I know but these are just much too nice to be used as toys, lol. Each of the vehicles in these sets are built using all metal parts and have a very good weight to them, obviously the tyres and glass parts are not metal but everything that should be, is. The moving parts actually do operate much like the real thing would and the detail thats been put into these miniatures is exceptional. The scale of these looks to be a true 1:50 and makes for a great display and could even become a collectable at some point in the future. Each of the models are about 8 or 9 inches in size although the taller crane reaches almost a foot. This set comes with two vehicles, a cement mixer and a crane with tracks. The mixer has a working mixing container which spins and the crane has a working hook lift and a rotating body with authentic looking hydraulics, if thats what they are called, lol, please forgive my ignorance on the names of construction tools. Both vehicles are finished in a recognisable smooth and bright gloss yellow with black ancillaries keeping them in line with what is quickly seen as construction. These truly are the best quality models that I have seen for many years and makes such a change from the usual plastic that most seem to be now. As a child in the 1960's, all of my toy cars and trucks were made from metal and if I hadn't given them away I'm sure that they would still be working now unlike the plastic versions that break as soon as they are looked at, lol.A superb choice for display or for collectors.Recommended.

OK for display or maybe model photography
These come in a well protected presentable box.Top line summary is these are well made and look good, but lack opening doors, poor cable gearing and very stiff tracks on the crane. These will look ok as display pieces and limited model photography. As a toy set, the cement truck is ok but the crane may not last given the poor cable gearing and lack of track movement. The models have a good weight to them and the actual finish to models is very good, clean lines and the transfers have been applied very well. The functionality of the models is however limited. The biggest miss I would say is that the doors don't open on either model - for model situational photography, this would be a big limitation as it will limit the model figure placement. With the cement truck, the front wheels hardly move steering position - again this will limit model situational photography and the crane's lifting cable gearing is very poor - feels and sounds like it won't last long if used a few times. With the crane, the tracks are extremely difficult to move - you need a lot of downward and forward force to get the tracks to move !So overall, at £34.99 (at the time of review), imho I would say these are OK static display models and would have been better with opening doors and front wheels of truck that could be moved to a steered angle. As a toy set, the cement truck is OK, but the crane may not last the punishment of a child playing with it.
