Caron Cakes-200g- Spice Cake

This cake is sport to DK weight, not worsted. The color blocks shift abruptly, but they make a great scarf or cowl. I've made all the patterns on the labels, plus some other semi-circle shawlettes with this yarn. I would love to see a cranberry / red/ pinks cake of yarn

I was so excited to find these on Amazon after finding out the color was discontinued. And thankfully this seller wasn't unchanging them for twice the cost like other sellers were! Can't wait to finish my blanket now

This yarn is great. I made a granny square afghan for my neighbor who loves orange. I used an I hook. Love Caron Cakes.

I really enjoyed working with the color way in the Caron Cakes. I hope that they will continue to make many more color combinations.

I really like working with this yarn. It has a soft feel but not silky. Definitely better that Red Heart Yarn but a little more pricey. I did 28 double stitches and managed to get an approximately 67 inch scarf with just a tiny left over. I used the recommended 5mm needle. Very nice quality. I got my yarn for $10 so it was worth it to me. Very pretty.

I was new to self-striping striping yarn & I made a shawl with this. The colors were so pretty & vivid. There were shades of orange in all & they perfectly lined up. I received an outstanding number of comments on the shawl! I be buying more of the self striping yarns from now on! Not a single knot or frey either!
