Burco 5266 Redi-Cut Passenger Side Mirror Glass (Mount Not Included) for 2008-2010 Volvo V70, 2007-2010 Volvo XC70, 2007-2010 Volvo XC90

The mirror from our volvo fell off in a recent ice storm (ice build up must have gotten behind the mirror and expanded resulting in the mirror cioming loose). I did not have to remove the existing mirror since it fell off cleanly. I did clean the surface with rubbing alcohol, placed the six adhesive pads to the mounting surface, then peeled off the paper for the mirror side and with gently pressure placed the mirror. I did make sure the mirror was a perfect fit prior to doing any work. Also, it is recommended that the installation be done in outside temperature as suggested in the instructions.I hope the adhesive will stay effective for a very long time.

One day while driving along the highway to work, I heard a "thunk" on the passenger side of my car. The side view mirror had simply...disappeared. I guess the original adhesive just gave out. A peek in the rear view showed the glittery remains bouncing all over the road.Hopped on Amazon as soon as I got to the office and found the replacement pretty quickly. It arrived the very next day. Installation was a breeze, and I feel so much safer being able to see what's going on to the right again.

Dealer wanted $129 to replace the passenger side mirror. This was under $20. Was the fit perfect, No. Did the adhesive pad that came with it leave me feeling like I would get 10 yrs out of this one as I did the original, No. Does it allow me to see what happen on the side of my car, Yes. Would I get another one if this one was to fall off after 2 yrs or so, Yes.At the price compared to a dealer replacement the value is unreal.

Great adhesion but once you place it that’s it. If I would add anything it would be a small suction cup to help install it.

Fit my passenger-side 2007 Volvo XC70 rear-view mirror perfectly. Glass appears of decent quality, sturdy grade material with OED clarity reflective surface (purchased non-heated version). Comes with 4 super-adhesive stick-pads sized to fit mirror placement area sufficiently (not a "glue kit" like some mirror packets offer or claim). Installation was very easy after my side mirror popped out and shattered one day. Cost efficient way to replace the glass portion without spending $300+ on an entire new mirror replacement part! Highly recommended.
