I absolutely love this pencil. I have had several other similar pencils and they all write equally well. The thing that makes this the best of the style is the location of the sharpener on the case. With most others you either need to take the whole case out of your pocket to sharpen the point or you need to take the back end cap off to do the same. This style allows you to leave the holster in your pocket and sharpen with a single hand. Much more convenient and efficient.

I really like this pencil, its doesn't feel like cheap garbage and is easily in the rankings of the other brands like pica Hultafors etc I have tried Hultafors and pica and prefer ox tools. The sharpener works well for fine tuning for accurate marks

I love this pen! I lost the compression cap on the end of it. It wasn't really a secure enough position to keep it in place. Considering what I do for work. The only complaint I have is that I would have to buy a whole new set when all I need is a tiny little cap.

I'm an IBEW electrician apprentice. I bought this pencil for use on the job site. It's great for marking conduit. The pencil case also has a useful built-in sharpener.Unfortunately, the case is made of cheap plastic and it didn't take very long for the pen clip to snap off. As a result, I don't use this product nearly as much as I was.

i run a shop and ive been getting these for my guys the last few years, its standard kit in my shop. i am bummed they changed the design but i still have the original and ive had it for over a year maybe closer to 2 years. i've even have some from the other departments who have gone out and got their own.out of the ones out there i like this one the best because of the shape and where the sharpener , it makes more sense to me having it the way it is then having it on the tip, cap or another spot. the body shape helps when im scribing panels to the wall, it doesn't roll off and that's good because im one of those people that will just put thing down and if it rolls away i might not find it.i would like to see maybe a longer version to help get into some places or a thin tip version but that's just me

Spent more time searching for the cap, than actually marking because it continually got knocked off while in my toolbelt. The old design was better , but that one fell out of my belt and was stepped on breaking the blue plastic off the steel part....went back to wooden,

I love this “pencil” for marking boards to be cut. It hasn’t broken the lead a single time like regular pencils always do. Well worth the money!

Solid carpentry pencil. Love the fact that the sharpener is located where it is near the top so I can sharpen it without removing from my pouch.

Just the thing for marking out,with a sharpener and holder included. Keeps safe and secure on the tool belt. Time will tell, but great so far and cheaper than some of the others

Genuinely can't believe how well this product works. I work a lot on timber/OSB and this makes perfect lines and it's never broken. A far world away from a carpenters pencil
