First off, I noticed the color was not exactly gold, but sort of an orangy tinge to the drapes. I do like the deep goldenrod color (how I describe them). My daughter liked them, so that was a great endorsement for me. The look very rich and they feel really luxurious to the touch. I haven't hung them yet because I'm waiting until I set up for the holidays. I'm really excited. Hopefully they won't look too orange once their up. They have a good heft to them, so not cheap looking or feeling at all. The final test will be once I hang them and see how they look with sunlight beaming through. I'll probably write another review then. But just looking at them, I love them!

EDIT: I tried to make the color discrepancy work but it just looked awful with the color being so drastically different from the image and description here. I have sent them back but ONLY because the color is SO off - I couldn't make them work in my space no matter how hard I tried to let it "marinate."I LOVE these curtains. They are thick, heavy and soft. I am renovating my RV and a set of panels, turned sideways and hung with clips, perfectly covers the long walls of windows without needing to hem them. The ONLY thing I dislike about them is they are far more orange (think pumpkin spice) than a golden oak. It's not going to match my new furniture at all but they are so pretty I'm going to try to make it work.

I got golden color, looks very rich and pretty. Soft material, has a good weight to it too. It does block sun during the day, but not to the pitch black. Probably darker colors would do better with that. I would definitely buy again.

Look like high end curtains. They block out the light and are elegant looking at the same time.

LOVE these curtains. We got the 90" ivory and hung them all the way to the ceiling. They're super soft, heavy but not too heavy, and seem to be great quality. They do come a little wrinkled but after gently ironing them they turned out perfect. Just be sure to iron on the underside so that the velvet material doesn't get messed up.My ONLY complaint is that while ironing I noticed one had a small stain on the underside. I'm not sure if they were returned and resent or something? But since no one is going to see it anyways, I didn't pay much bother to it. I went ahead and ordered more for our other room!

These were fabulous! I read reviews before purchasing as I usually do, but they were above and beyond. Softness, well made. My color sage, was exactly as shown. So much, I got another, so I can have for 2 windows at another time in another room.You won't be disappointed..A-1 quality.

Ordered marigold hoping it was more gold than orange because other than the shade of gold these are perfect and I am very discriminating when it comes to decorating my home. Quality velvet silky medium weight material that looks luxurious and hangs perfectly from the rod.
