Truly amazing
It's been after a long long time i recieved a perfectly non damaged book and that stole my heart away😂. As for the writing part and story line: come on we all know Mafi never disappoints(I've not yet read TWK💀✨). The book itself is crafted beautiful though and I loved it from the first look. Will update once I read it. I've given it 4 stars solely on the fact that it's a pretty book with good packaging.

Perfect condition
Haven't read it yet but it was delivered in perfect condition. Sad though that they released the book later in India as compared to the rest of the world. Will update rating after I read the book.

👍
Came in great condition, and this makes me remember why I love Tahereh Mafi in the first place, her writing has definitely improved since Shatter Me and it shows. 5/5

a most excellent start
rating: 4.5i went into this pretty blind and i had a really good time. it starts a bit slow, but the second half ramps up and snowballs pretty quickly into a very enjoyable cliffhanger ending.persian mythology set to a cinderella retelling (ish), this is a very different experience from shatter me. well, the mmc/love interest switch up feels a bit similar lol.she really had me going with kamran, even though i've seen the fan art and ship posts i was like ok what's up... and then enter cyrus heheheh. i swear if a dog joke comes out again i'm gonna lose it completely XDi was very impressed in the last 15% or so when mafi is weaving several different plans abound. as i'm not familiar with the source material, this felt very fresh and unpredictable to me.i think i'm going to love book 2.

Unexpected and so much fun! A whirlwind of emotions.
This felt different than Tahereh's previous works, but was refreshing to read. Think Cinderella retelling only a bit darker with a Shakespearean vibe to it? Absurd in an endearing way with a swoony romance, political intrigue and mystery unfolding with every chapter. Kept me hooked and intrigued, specially at the end. the pacing is so well done even with the complex language that gives Jane Austen energy but make it YA.Bring on the sequel!

Ansiosa pra ler Tahereh
The media could not be loaded. Ainda tô pra ler a saga Estilhaça-me da autora mas não pude resistir quando essa edição capa dura entrou em promoção! A edição é linda, a jacket é tipo laminada.Acredito que vou gostar bastante da história, a sinopse me deixou muito animada.A entrega foi dentro do prazo e o livro chegou certinho (só com um amassadinho nas pontas da jacket, dá pra ver no vídeo).

Tantalising narrative and interesting characters
Not perfect but the protagonist (and even the few key characters) are well drawn but there are too few to fully support the narrative. The decriptions are reasonable but hardly fully drawn or deeply evocative, but they do find a certain neat and attaractive balance. The lost princess theme is very well done, detailed and fully drawn; the confused general-prince less so; The underworked 'minister' (more like an equerry or ADC) was very sketchy. There are few other characters that get any colour at all. The world building was never more than a work in progress.Princes and Ministers running their own errands, following and staking out suspects. The King acting on thin assumptions, personally supervising hired mercenraries in a bungled palace arrest. Sloppy dialogue and procedure in a national defence exectutive meeting. Sketchy Ball descriptions. These are weaknesses but I was grippedRecommended (4.5 stars) at £2.99. The sequel at £5 however, I am not sure to buy
