SalomonWomen's Xa Pro 3D V8 Trail Running Shoe

I really like this brand.. but, I wanted trail running.. my experience with them would be that they are more for hiking..

I love Salomon shoes, but I find the inconsistent size thing tedious. I ordered these shoes in the normal 8.5 I wear. The 8.5 in the sense ride 3 fit perfectly. These...I knew they were wrong the moment I opened the box. They were enormous. I didn't even have to try them on. I ordered a replacement size down, but because I had gotten a Ultra w/Pro that were also way too big, I thought I should contact Salomon and ask if perhaps a man's last had been used...if there was an error in production that they were addressing. I was more than a little shocked when they told me that they make the sizes different ON PURPOSE. They don't tell you in the product description which sizes are different or by how much. It's just like a great, "we're trying to help fill your boredom" time waster. You can't even count on the comments to tell you, because I have seen suggestions of half size down, whole size, 1.5 size, and 1 size UP! All for the same shoe. So, I have found two pair I love and fit and think I will probably not buy anymore just so I don't run the risk of getting stuck with a non-returnable pair of huge shoes.Just to be thorough, though, when I got the 7.5 for these I found them a bit too stiff for me. I am a forefoot to midfoot runner and really like the rather rare super soft forefoot of the sense ride 3. But, for a hiker/walker or a heel striker, these might be right up your alley.

I think the size is ok, a little bit bigger then the others (but it depends where were they made, i have 3 salamon shoes in 3 different size). Very light. NOT WATERPROOF! really comfy, but this for me was a little bit big, so at my toes the matterial was wrinkled. I am sure it is good in the right size for running and walking too, in dry weather. I sent it back as i wanted waterproof and not exactly this type of style shoe.

Fits well, sturdy, good support & easy to get on & off.

Ich hatte schon das Vorgängermodell und habe mich daher wieder für diesen Schuh entschieden.Der Schuh sieht gut aus und ist ordentlich und sauber verarbeitet, wie man es von Salomon kennt.Aber bereits beim ersten Hineinsteigen hatte ich nicht das bequeme Gefühl des "gut aufgehobenen Fußes". Die Ferse sank nicht schön ins Fußbett und wurde durch dieses nicht stabilisiert, und vor allem wird das Fußgewölbe nicht gestützt. Ich habe in dem Schuh regelrecht Knick- und Senkfüße.Und obwohl der vorherige Schuh das Männermodell war und viel breiter eigentlich, weil es da die Damenmodelle nicht in meiner Größe gab, ist der jetzige Schuh zu weit. Dabei habe ich schon breite Füße.Es tut mir sehr leid, aber der Schuh geht leider zurück.

Importante saber que no es el modelo GTX (impermeables), tal como se anuncia. No entiendo como amazon no ha cambiado el título del artículo. Yo ya lo sabía y quería este modelo sin GTX. Hace muchos años que compramos este modelo. Siempre nos ha durado bastante tiempo y no nos da problemas en los pies, lo usamos , mi mujer y yo.Uno de los modelos de Salomon que va evolucionando, después de muchos años continúa en el mercado. Para mí, sus principales virtudes son la comodidad y duración. Un punto flojo, en piedra húmeda pierde bastante agarre. Por lo demás zapatillas excelentes.
