No more carageenan. We stopped purchasing the product for over a year. I had contacted the company and I knew they were working on removing the carageenan. Since I couldn't find out on Amazon I decided to purchase it anyway and was pleased that the product I received is the new formula. It does say "natural flavors" which I'm not happy with but for now we are using it again since we cannot find a better choice on the market. My twins love it. Some have complained about the consistency but this is how we make our shakes: In our blender we add the mix with milk, a banana, and some walnuts. This will not mix well like others have mentioned if you don't use a blender. The taste on its own is ok but the twins don't like it. Adding a banana makes it taste like a chocolate milkshake.

I use to drink this a few years ago so when i reordered it i thought i was getting the same thing. the label had changed slightly and there was a sticker on it that said, "It's back, you didn't like the new chocolate flavor so we changed it back." I hadn't had it for awhile so i wasn't sure if i had the old or the new flavor and this concerned me....no need! This is just a tasty and wonderful as i remember it. I have been feeling sluggish recently and thought i would supplement my diet with this drink. This is a great way to get those fruits and veges you miss in your diet. Will order this again and again! Great flavor and dissolves easily in a little water first before adding milk.

I've been giving this stuff to my son since he was one year old, he's twenty-one months now. He's a very healthy child with tons of energy. I don't know whether or not I can attribute that to this product, but hey, it isn't hurting him. He's not particularly picky about his fruit and veg, but it makes me feel better that he's getting a little boost each morning. He IS a toddler, afterall. I mix it with goat milk. It is a bit powdery/lumpy, but he doesn't care, so why should I? As for it being half empty: It is. But, since I purchased this from Amazon, I got what I expected. 60 servings at a little under $0.50 each. I don't feel ripped off. It's cheaper than the milk we mix it into. I do have one qualm with this product, though. It contains soy. I try to avoid giving him endocrine disrupting foods, like flax meal and soy. I wish they would replace it with coconut milk. But, oh well. I'm trying not to drive myself completely insane on this one. Recommended!

I have to put this in a travel cup for my 5 year old or else he won't drink it. He is too use to the smooth and chocolate colored chocolate milk. It turns milk into a greenish cast and no matter how you mix it, it is a bit gritty but it does taste good. I think its worth it for the benefits but when it comes to young ones, the way it looks matters the most. It might just be my son but he totally thinks greenish milk is not cool (maybe because he associates it with veggies that he doesn't like). I will still purchase it in the future because the positives out way any negatives.

I think it’s a great product for kids to sneak veggies into their diet. It does clump up pretty bad though I wish I knew a way to keep it from not getting so chunky when added to a drink

I bought this product for myself but even when mixed with chocolate milk it still had a funny, grassy taste. Not a bad taste just not a chocolate taste. So you are probably wondering why I gave it 5 stars. I would have given it 10 if it were a possibility. I decided to see if my 2 year old would drink it as he has the typically diet of a two year old and wanted to make sure he was getting enough fruits and vegetables (this mix has 3 servings). I gave it to him mixed with chocolate milk and he loved it. So I tried it with plain milk and he still liked it. What is so great is that my son suffers from chronic constipation despite diet changes, increasing fiber, prune juice, etc. I had reluctantly started giving him Miralax and was not happy that I was having to give my 2 year old a medication to help him go to the bathroom. Even with the Miralax twice a day, he was still struggling to go for several days and then diarrahea and then back to constipation. Was really frustrating. I started using this product and stopped everything else (fiber, Miralax, etc) and he now goes every day without a problem. I am so happy to finally have a natural product that does so much good for him and he actually likes it. Couldn't be happier!!

I've tried many diff kinds of green powder and had to choke it down by mixing it with a strong flavored juice. It would defeat the purpose! All these nutrients in a processed sugary juice. No good. So i decided to get this chocolate flavor at whole foods... to my surprise it blended very well in a smoothie with only a HINT of a green taste. Oddly enough, when mixed with milk it has zero after taste and actually tastes quite like chocolate milk. It tastes more like an ovaltine than a nestle quick. But if kids don't know the difference they should take to this pretty well! The key is to dissolve in water first then add the milk. I've been adding to almond milk and drinking it right up without having to have a "chaser." Today I mixed with a half a scoop of "super seed" fiber (also purchased on amazon) and threw in some hemp seeds with almond milk and it tastes great! Like chocolate covered nuts. Really enjoyed it and will be using this method to get in my daily vegetable intake. I also would like to mention the amazon price is most definitely the best deal-- especially when you do subscribe and save. 5 stars!

I bought this product because my toddler is a very picky eater and I wanted to give him some sort of a supplement that I could add to his drinks. We originally were looking for a pediasure but it's way over priced for a can of junk, I try to do natural when I can so I found this. I hesitated to purchase because of the mixed reviews in the first place but we decided to try. I added it just to water first time, one sip a weird (this is nasty mom) look and gag, he threw his cup down. Long story short I've tried everything, he hates it. So told my older children to start drinking it if they liked it, same reaction they couldn't drink it. I tried it and it's gross. Bad after taste, so now a whole can of this stuff has sat in my fridge for months because I have a hard time throwing $30 some odd dollars in the trash. Bums me out!
