These have saved me from several nasty falls on ice in the winter!! Used these for multiple winter hikes in CO for the winter. I have only used them for one season, however, I can easily use them for next season.The sizing chart helped determine what size to purchase. Used these on 2 different styles of boots for humming and worked well for both. No cons that I can report with this item, would recommend someone purchasing these.

Trip to Bryce Canyon National Park in early March.I’ve winter hiked before and never used traction devices. But it was suggested for the hike, so I got them. I was very happy with that decision. They were fantastic. Gave me confidence to hike slippery icy snowy trails near steep hills and drop offs. Easy to take on and off. The spikes are inconvenient on rocks and concrete, so plan a way to carry (carabiner) on trails with a lot of each.I only used these for about 12 miles total hiking, so I can’t speak to how long they’ll last.Note that my hiking partner had the yaktrax … no spikes just chains … and was also happy.

I never knew I needed these. Used them for the first time a few days ago after an over night storm. Was able to walk the dog much further than normal after a storm. Ice, snow no problem. Also not a problem walking on pavement in between.Mental freedom to be able to walk with confidence and thoroughly enjoy the walk - worth the price. I grew up in the Chicago area and wish I thought to get these decades ago.Have only used once - we have several storms on the way and will use these several times, especially on the ice rink otherwise known as the driveway.I have them on my hiking boots and will keep them on them for the rest of the season. Took me a few minutes to figure out how to put the strap on. Easy.

I am a size women's 10 boot and the size xl was a little big so I reordered the size large and they fit perfectly snug and don't slip like the size xl did. I am so happy with my purchase and so thrilled that I can take my dog for a walk in the park especially because the trails have been so iced over lately and dangerous. These certainly make the biggest difference!! So much better than Yak Traks!!
