FITEC Ultra Spreader Clear Fishing Cast Net

Review is on the 6ft radius. Much easier to work than the 8ft radius version I first purchased. I'm able to get it to fully open with only a small amount of swing. I use if for 3-6 inch bait like Gizzard Shad and White Perch for live baiting Rockfish. The net is only used from my boat on the Potomac and Chesapeake Bay. I've pulled in 3-4 lb catfish with the bait at times and the net has held up fine. Very satisfied with the construction.The were Q&A about the bottome weights. The lead weights at the bottom are approximately 1 inch long tube type sinkers, not the round ones. It will get twisted periodically, but easy to free while hanging the horn over the rocket launcher.

Worked out perfect for me ! Right size.....not to heavy....opens in a perfect 12 ' dia circle...will be ordering another one just like it when I can't repair it any longer.....sometimes the net will get a hole in it from a wandering catfish or chunk of coral or oyster shell. So far it has been a very quality net that won't break the bank !

I really like this cat net. It's pretty tough, relatively flexible, and throws abd spreads nicely. The only downside is that it seems to get tangled easily, and it's harder to untangle than other nets I've used. I don't know if this is just an error on my part, or has to do with the net design. But overall, it's a great value and i really like it.

top quality built. not very heavy sinks with average speed but it's easier on arms after multiple throws. ideal for big mullets on shallow waters

Weakly constructed. Probably great for playing in the water and would catch fish in very shallow water. Too light weight for fishing for large fish at any depth or in any rough water surface conditions. I returned the one I ordered as I required something much more heavy duty.
