Dora Explorer Backpack Rescue Bag with Map,Dora Backpack Pre-Kindergarten Toys Purple

It's a cute backpack, but has its shortcomings. First, the map is not vinyl as advertised. It's a fabric material, which can be thrown into the wash so not a big issue. Secondly, and my larger issue, is that the velcro to close it is not strong enough. We had to sew in a new velcro tab with something stronger so that it closes. Lastly, the material gets dirty, but at least we can throw it in the wash. For my Dora-lover daughter, this was a big hit after grandma's intervention to make it function better.

For the little one that wants to pretend to be Dora, this is the backpack to get. The only fault I found was in the belts. Those can loosen up by themselves making the bag inappropriate to carry average weigh like a lunch bento box, hardcover books, a kids fire tablet, and such. I think it can work to carry a set of diaper, shirt, and pant for a toddler if the clothing is lightweight. It is a good way to avoid carrying a diaper bag and still get them to wear something fun that they love. Very soft and machine washable in delicate cycle. The design is embroider, not printed which makes the item worth the wait of shipping ( It was arrived later than expected). Wish the map had different designs to choose from (interchangeable with velcro?).

Bought this for my vehicle, a Ford Explorer named Dora. It is just the best little accessory for a good chuckle! The little faces are embroidered on. The map opens and there is an actual inside map picture printed on the material featuring Dora and Swiper and a few other show characters. It has a pull string closure. If you buy this for a little one, it would last them to about 4 years old: it is a little bigger than a lunch sack but smaller than a school book bag. It could hold books for road trips for that under 4 crowd though. Really too cute!

My granddaughter loves Dora, so the backpack itself is a hit. However, the map is not vinyl and there are no toys. If a seller advertises certain items will be included, then include them!!

I am extremely upset with this product. My nephew,who's dad is stationed in Alaska, loves Backpack and map from Dora, I thought this would be the best gift for him but when I opened the package I was bummed. The stitching around the eyes were coming out and there's a stain or mark on map. I wanted his 1st birthday to go perfectly, but now I'm off trying to find a better gift!!!

This was a christmas gift for my god daughter. She absolutely loves it. She carries it around with her every where! The fabric of the back pack and the map is very soft and seems durable. I know that her mom washes it often and has had no trouble out of it.

Got this for my 1 1/2 year old daughter’s Halloween costume but the quality is so good that we continue to use it as her diaper and snack bag. It has two side cup holders and the map is really good quality.

If your kid likes Dora, they love backpack. Looks just like Doras and has a removable map with graphics.
