an odd and particular group of stories, but i wanted to learn or review them, and it was fascinating to me.

This book is a history of the early years of mountain rescue in the Pacific Northwest, and the individuals who played a major role in the formation of the Mountain Rescue Association. It's dry, matter of fact, and less than engrossing. This book is easy to put down (and not pick up).
