Q: how much does it weight

Janice, it's weight is 43 lb as you see it on the picture. Putting it in the car trunk can be a little difficult task, depends on the physical capability of the person and accessibility to the car trunk. Handling on the floor is no problem. I am 72 year old man and did not have a problem loading it to the car. I hope this info will help. I have no complain so far about this product, but this wheelchair is the first I have owned and second I have used.

Q: Does it have a tilt bar in back to help the person pushing tip up the front wheels for going over bumps?

I have had to use the handles to raise the front end because there is no tilt bar. I have only had to do that twice. One it worked great and the last time I ended up turning the chair around and backing over a door threshold. Hope this helps.

Q: Are the wheels rubber or plastic, what does the chair weigh is it easy for a elderly person to maneuver themselves and does it fold up easily ?

Hi! The wheels are rubber, it is fairly easy to roll around yourself. I don't fold it up, my Husband does and he says it is one of the lightest wheelchairs he has held. I don't know the exact weight, sorry. Since this chair is for an elderly person, I would recommend a wheelchair WITHOUT the "desk design". "Desk Design" is when the arms are indented to fit under a desk. I actually wish I had bought my chair with "regular" arms, no indent.
