Failed Crimps and faulty line tester - After 4-5 cables (8-12 crimps): Total junk
Literal junk. You get what you pay for with these. My crimper failed to crimp so many times I ended up purchasing multiple types of ends/crimps in the hopes that it would resolve the issue. Nope, no luck there. I replaced it with a different, more expensive crimp and have had one failed crimp that was 100% due to the cable I accidentally shorted while stripping it. The stripper has a tendency to over or under penetrate the cable making stripping more troublesome than it needs to be. The built in stripper (on the crimp) works well and is basically all I can use, now that my return window has closed. Skip this.

Pretty good for the price
The media could not be loaded. ย I liked that this package included everything, so whether you're setting-up a new cable-making station or just upgrading from the old-style, this has all the components. Also, the price was excellent. If you just need to make a few cables, occasionally, this is a good set. However, the blades aren't adjustable, so for some of the cable I have, the stripper doesn't cut the insulation and you have to use some other tool. And, when you go to trim the excess wires (that protrude thru the pass-thru openings), it's difficult to do. It would be great if there was some way to adjust the blades.

No fear purchase
I entered this purchase with a little fear that the unit would be of poor quality and possibly not meet my needs over a longer period of use. All of those fears are gone! The unit isnโt as smooth and nice as some higher end models, but for those that do not need to use it every day, I believe that it is a great value and well made. It cuts, crimps, and desheaths quickly and competently. There is no learning curve in using the device. The hardest part will be getting your wires in their respective spots for the cable ends!

Disappointed
This looks so much like the Klein tool, but it does not perform. I tried (2) different units and both had the same problem. The gold fingers of the RJ-45 do not get embedded far enough into the connector. Once crimped, it does not fit in all RJ45 sockets. I can use my old RJ-45 crimp tool to press them down farther and the connector will go into a socket.

Sorry I waisted my time and money on this kit.
This crimper is marginal at best, doesnโt cut wires completely off when crimping ends on.The tester only worked once and then the light in the eighth position on master quit. I verified this by testing with my buddies tester!I was in a hurry to order this tool set because it was Black Friday deal, another mistake.

Great price decent tool.
Great tool set for the price, and quick shipping too. Only dislike is the lock for keeping it closed. It a little too finicky and tends to lock itself. Otherwise great for the price. Very happy with the purchase.

Disappointed
The crimp too was ok well built However The Cable tester was built with sub standard material and felt Like it would break by just touching it... Also they the kit included a coax cable striper and sold as an ethernet cable kit of no good on ethernet cables....

Poor
The price was good, but it do not work well as far as cutting the pairs properly. Had to purchase another one. Also I purchased one before this on that was not a pass through type. Sent back for a refund and never received my refund. I will properly never purchase anything again.
