Made by Hands Make Your Own Cards

We originally bought this at a JBF sale. We made so many cards together--my children are 2 and 4 years old. They needed direct supervision and the cards needed to be assembled. The punch-out shapes are excellent. I'm not sure why people are posting negative reviews. You get exactly what is shown. The complete cards are examples. All you need is some glue, a bit of creativity, and a good chunk of time (a perfect opportunity for quality time with your kids), and the sky is the limit with these! Follow the suggestions or make your own pictures! I will continue to buy this. Considering cards are upwards of $4-6 anymore, getting 20 (with envelopes!) for $21 is a great price. And they're worth so much more to the people you give them to. Can't put a price on that. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love this card making kit! We have purchased this exact same one twice. My girls just love it! It has a variety of shapes and patterns to use, great colors, and kids can easily punch out the shapes on their own. It's perfect for kids to make their own cards for the special people in their lives! We will definitely be purchasing it again when this one runs out of supplies!

Was okay. my daughter is 8 and got side tracked very quickly, which is not like her. There was instructions on how to make the characters on the box and a couple others, but the shapes were hard to pop out with their pre-cut lines. A lot of the shapes tore and we had to use other shapes that took from the other characters. The supplies did not account for that or stepping out side of their color choices on the instructions. it also could have used something other than plain paper and shapes. like wiggly eyes or sticky back shapes. something. It fell short and we did not use it past 3 cards. became very boring very fast. This may not bother others, but it is meant for kids. I gave it four stars because we were able to use it and there were instructions.

Simple card making craft kit. This was a gift for our 8 year old niece & she really liked it. What was really nice about it was that she could do everything herself. The cards come precut, so she didn't need scissors. If she wanted to make something, she didn't need adult supervision because the only tools needed are her hands.Good product.

My daughter received this as a gift for her 4th year birthday, almost two years ago, and she hasn't stop playing with it since then. She has made cards for her friends' birthdays, valentine's day and others. The box brings some suggestions for making the cards so my daughter used to copy from those, but as she is growing she is creating her own cards. It is a very creative and mind stimulating.

Got this as a Xmas gift for my niece. Her mom suggested it as she often needs to write thank you cards and such.She tore right into it was her grandpas birthday and she wanted to make him a card.Really nice assortment of colors and cutouts.What I really like was that it didn't include 1000 junky stickers and glitter and nonsense. Which really allowed the child to create for themselves. Rather then rely on what was provided.The quality was above average and I felt very satisfied with the purchase. And she was very happy too. Gave this to my 6year old who loves it. We made all our relatives thank you notes after Christmas. I helped her with the first two and she did the rest independently. She will pull it out and copy the examples. My son . 7 , also enjoyed it making his own designs and cards. Minimal help was needed. Great for all kids, creative or not.

There are many positives about this kit: Carrying case is great to put the contents back into place and has a carrying handle. Everything fits easily and velcros shut. The paper colors are vibrant. The shapes are nicely perforated and do not rip as you are taking them out. The paper is a nice weight--almost as thick as cardstock, I believe. The cards are large: 5.5" x 8.5" - a nice size for small hands.However, I have pretty paper and envelopes. What I really wanted were a good variety of shapes for my 6-year-old daughter who enjoys making cards. Instead, the set included the following popouts shapes:7 sheets of paper in these colors: orange, blue, light green, purple, white, yellow, and pink. Each paper contained the following shapes of varying sizes:8 squares (3 perforated into 6 triangles each)14 rectangles8 circles (3 perforated into 2 semicircles each)5 flowers3 hearts18 petals/teardrops1 sheet of black paper with 48 black circles (4 different sizes).There is one piece of cardboard with 7 examples (their website [...] has other ideas), but once we created flowers, a house, a present, a face, and butterflies, there wasn't much else to do (winter/Christmas just past). You really need to be creative with ideas to enjoy this kit to its fullest. I had hoped for more variety of shapes (birds, people, sports, furniture, etc).For those who are imaginative, this set will likely be great. If you're looking for pre-made shapes, be aware of this kit's contents.
