Great overview of fundraising prep and process.
I really liked the overview of the process and how to manage it. Also, what I should have for expectations from investors and how I should think about who I invest my time in. In short, great overview with some really practical tips.

Little pearls of wisdom
What strikes you first when you hold the book is how thin it is. What wisdom could such a small book impart, you may wonder. You will be surprised.The first thing you notice about the book is that it comes from a place of authenticity and humility. First advice Ryan gives is - you have to let your authentic self shine and not take anything at face value including the advice given by him. The second thing that struck me was the focus on building relationship. Every action and outcome during the fundraising affects the relationships with the investors. Once the book sets up the foundation, it gets right into the details. The book has very practical tips on how to build the momentum, how to find prospects and most importantly which people to say no to. The book is targeted towards seed to early stage founders but some of the tips could be used by the later stage founder also (however, you should have become good at funds raising by now.) If you are on the fence of buying the book, consider the investment you are putting in it. Unlike most books that make you spend 6 hours reading a book for what could be conveyed in 10 minutes, this book will take hardly 30 minutes to finish and you can get back to specific chapter when you need to. Overall considering the ROIC, I found this book to be very useful.

A short but definitely useful guide to fundraising
It is a good guide to fundraising, but it assumes that you can easily build a network of investors. It’s not so easy if you’re not in silicone valley or USA. Probably Ryan doesn’t know how to build it the other way and it wasn’t hard for him to do it, but for a lot of other people this can look like an impossible task.Otherwise, a good guide for fundraising.

Super simple and clear
More than any book or blog post that I’ve read on this topic, the author makes the fundraising process so crystal clear and easy to follow. I’ve raised round up to series B and the steps here are spot on!

This book has made me more money than the sum total of every book I've ever read
This will make you an order of magnitude better fundraiser, especially if you run a pre-seed/stage stage business. FULL STOP!Imagine spending $11 on a book and walking away with millions in value? Sounds crazy right.... well Ryan and his book "fundraising" have done the impossible by doing just thatHow do I know this book is legit? I've raised $6+ million for my company off the back of this advice!

Es una explicación magistral
Este libro es una joya, además de que ofrece algunas cuestiones técnicas, principalmente te da Tips y te habla de cosas que aunque no son técnicas son igual de importantes cómo la forma de conducirte, de hablar, de escribir, y conectar con los prospectos. Estás recomendaciones tienen mucho más que ver con la ciencia del comportamiento durante el proceso de conseguir inversionistas.

Read this book at least 6 months before you start fundraising. This is the highest leverage book to get you funded by VCs.

Not worth it
50 small pages with large font, few of which are either blank or containing trivial email templates. The "book" is mostly about building a wide network of ppl around you and using them as means to introduce you to investors they know. I'd not recommend the book to anyone really
