These are very smooth, very sturdy. Easy to hang.

I used this to make a clock for my brother… it worked perfect! I now know what to use when I make more of these! The clock is still in the mold in this picture. But you can see the perfect clock there on the right side of the screen!

This manufacturer/distributor is wonderful. These rounds have a beautiful wood surface that is smooth - you can see the larger grain on the flip side and the outside is even grained. Edges are eased, really easy to work with this product for my artwork.

I've been looking for some round panels for my acrylic paintings for my art biz, One Lane Studios, and I'm loving these right now. I wish their edges were more smooth and less porous, but aside from that they're pretty great! I add a few layers of gesso first and then sand the surface and sides and it works like a charm. They are sturdy and the main surface is nice and smooth. The only things I wish I could change are those rough porous sides and I would love a 1.5" deep-set profile option. Def recommend!

These rounds are appropriate as art canvas, but are not structurally strong. They consist of a thin piece of very fine quality plywood backed by a ring of 3/4 thick MDF. The middle has nothing behind it, making it like a big drum.

I’m in the process of making pa Dutch hex signs. When completely painted they should withstand weather. Other products are just the disk veneer. The disk are 23 3/4” diameter. Nominal versus actual. I will be buying more of these.

I have to prime the wood before I do any type of art on it, but that’s basically with any type of wood. Other than that I have no issues.

Smooth surface for acrylic painting. Dries evenly. Studier than canvas surface. Easy to tape sides.

I was so impressed when my first 2 of these arrived that I ordered another 2 strait away. When I started to use the first one the wood split. I thought it might be 1 unlucky board so I prepared the 2nd one with 3 layers of primer to be extra sure that it was well sealed and went ahead with my rough in with oil paint yesterday ready to paint ‘proper’ today… I am so disappointed to find this one has also cracked over night…. see photo attached. I will try painting with thick enough oil paint to see if it cracks through the thicker paint but would never dare to use on if these for a paying customer.
