Q: Is the filter really work?

Yes but with a French press I recommend a coarse grind on any beans you use to avoid the mud at the bottom of the cup.

Q: I understand I can get more of the dual screen filters, but how do I search for them. What is the part number?

I don’t know the part number but a search on Amazon showed universal filters for a French press

Q: The apperance looks good. What is it made?

I believe it is stainless steel insulated with a powder coat on the out side similar to a hydro flask design
