Best film on ppf Amazon
Bought ppf off Amazon before but it was a weird plastic and difficult to apply. I used this one on my headlights and is spot on so far. Easy to apply with soapy water and a heat gun. Very hard to tell the headlight has anything on it. Would recommend

Better for other applications
Although this is advertised as a car paint protection, after some closer inspection, I’m very dubious this it could hold to the rigours of high speed stones and chips. It scratches and cuts quite easily, so didn’t see the point and effort to apply to the car. Instead, I have used it on lower section of doors as kick protection and table legs for general scuffs. Seems to be doing a decent job and is easily cleaned. This saves me having to touch up the paint on white doors and furniture.

Protects kick boards and white goods against my partners size 11 boot marks.
I didn’t know this existed until now. I didn’t choose this to protect my car, my car is ancient and beyond that lol but it is perfect to protect the bottom of my new under basin cabinet in the bathroom. My partner has size 11 feet, and I am forever having to wash black boot marks off of the bottom of the washing machine and boards in the kitchen. I just got a new under basin bathroom storage unit and was worried he might go in there with his boots on and mark that too. This tape is easy to apply, you wouldn’t know it was there unless you were looking for it. It sticks down well with no turned or loose bits. If your car was in good condition this would certainly be a must.

Not amazing
This seems like a perfect item for your car to protect it but it’s not really worth the price and the effort to get this on is even more painful loads of bums and bubbles ends up looking unattractive

Overpriced, poor tools and packaging
TOYOCO Car Paint Protection FilmThe TOYOCO film arrives wrapped in polythene inside a small cardboard box, a craft knife and hard plastic squeegee are also included. As some other reviewers have mentioned, the box is slightly shorter than the film roll so there is the likelihood of it arriving with damaged ends, although luckily mine was okay. There are no instructions on preparations or how to go about applying the film.I have some previous experience of applying decals and film to vehicles so I had a pretty good idea of what to do. I wanted to put a strip of the film along the lower part of the doors of my SUV so after washing the car I set about trying to put some film onto the doors. I had already spotted the fact that with only one and a half metres of film, there wouldn’t be enough to do all the doors and as it turned out, there was only sufficient to do one door.To apply this type of film it is essential to do it by wetting the sticky side with a weak solution of washing up liquid in water. This allows you to slide the plastic into position before squeegeeing out the water. Without this process, you are unlikely to get it positioned properly and you probably won’t get rid of the air bubbles trapped under the film.I decided to put what film I could on one of the rear passenger doors. It would provide me with answers to some questions I had about the TOYOCO film. One was how well the edge of the film would stay down and the other was how well it would conform to compound curves in the car bodywork.Sadly I cannot answer my first question because unfortunately, I could not get the film to stay put where the door panel curves in two directions. The curve is concave where the door panel blends into the shape of the rear wheel arch, the plastic squeegee supplied is too stiff for pressing the film down, it may be better with a rubber one but I don’t have one to try. With the limited amount of film on this roll I didn’t have enough to try again so unfortunately, my experience with the TOYOCO car paint protection film was not a successful one.The TOYOCO film comes on a roll 30cm wide but only one and a half metres long, which is not really enough to cover much of an area of paint and at £25 it is rather expensive to have a failure. At least three metres of the film would be a decent amount both in terms of value and coverage. I also think the box it comes in and the tools should be of better quality to justify the price.

Best suited to small ,perfectly flat areas
Having just bought a second hand van , we wanted to add a bit of protection to areas that are showing wear. This film is 12 " wide so you arent going to be covering whole panels with no join but you can cut pieces for areas of protection. It is very light grip you have to rub it down well and be certain the surface is as clean and smooth as possible first. It is pretty colourless. On car paintwork, it wont really change the colour but its not invisible either, it looks like plastic laid over the top and the bubbles are very hard to eliminate.I would say this is for small areas only.If you can cut a neat shape with the supplied craft knife, you can adhere it to the area round your key hole , on the flat surfaces of things etc. It doesnt take well to being bent around edges at all so the edges and sills of your car door are probably not the best area to put it.IT could be used on a bike frame if you cut thin pieces to for example protect from the chain but I think there are better products for that.I would be amazed if it stayed on a shoe sole for more than a few minutes.Could be used to cover the top of a laptop to help against scraping when putting in and taking out of a laptop sleeve if you cut it so the edges dont overlap and so catch on the bag.Its not clear enough to use on a screen , window or mirror. Its too obvious to add to such things as stainless steel or high gloss appliances or worktops .You could use it on the sides of kitchen appliances to cut down on scratches and scrapes where there is a lot of 'through traffic' for example in a business situation .Tools included are a small craft knife and a plastic rub-down tool

Great protection film
This Paint Protection Film (PPF) comes with a scraper and a cutter. The film is rolled up in a bag, comes in perfect condition. The size of this will fit any wing mirrors without a joint, or may be some narrower bumpers but not quite big enough for bonnets.Tried to put this on my wing mirrors with the help of some online research of how to mix the solution and the tack coat for this to stick. Failed the first time as it was not easy. Tried again on a flat surface it was a lot easier, and once this is set it gives great protection to the surface. It is also easy to remove without leaving a trace.
