Colors

Beautiful vibrantly colored pictures! I was so excited to receive this book for my 3 month old. Babies really need bright contrasting colors and as a former special education teacher, this book ticks that box! Baby is engaged when I show her the pages and I like that it’s a more durable board book!

Great early introduction to colors. Each color in the spectrum is featured on 4 pages with 2 pages each for brown and black at the end. Each colors page features many stylized representations of various objects, fruits and vegetables, and animals. There’s no story but plenty to talk about and point to with your little one. Bright and cheery and well received by my little one.

This book goes in my cache of books to use as gifts for birthdays of young children. The colors are vibrant and beautiful, and the objects used to teach the colors are well chosen.

My daughter loves this book but sometimes gets the colors confused. To her some of the purples look pink and the orange looks really close to red. Yes, its confusing when you are just learning but I also feel on other pages she does better and can see there is more than one shade, yellow for example. She is still learning and getting better because she is starting to know what to expect. My only complaint is that there are multiple colors on some if the pages which is confusing sometimes for those who are learning. Despite this, the pages do have more of the color the child is supposed to focus on. Otherwise it is fun for the child to point out objects and colors. My 2 year old is getting good with them so now it's less confusing for her (all though she still calls some if the purples pink and they do look really close to pink). Sometimes I even ask her to find a color page or ask her what other colors besides red or blue or yellow she might find on the page. It's fun for her and educational.

My 1-year-old loves this book!

This book devoted several pages to each color. My 4 month old loves looking at this book. It easily catches her attention.

My son already knows his colors but he loves this book and telling me what colors all the objects are.
