Perfect Japanese tea cups
These well-made tea cups are exactly what I wanted. Even though they’re made in China, the delicate designs feel very Japanese. They’re the size and dimensions of the tea cups that one typically finds in a Japanese restaurant. Many of the tea cups shown on Amazon are very small, which is fine if that’s what you want. But some appear larger in the photos than they actually are, so you really have to pay attention to the specs to make sure you’re not disappointed if you want larger tea cups like these. They’re large enough to be filled just halfway so the top doesn’t get too hot for your fingers.

Beautiful and giftable
These were securely packed and the colors and patterns on each one are beautiful. I gave them with a set of teas and am actually tempted to order another set to gift or keep for myself. They're a nice versatile size and feel well made and durable

Hand warmer and cute
If you are one of those people that drinks tea scorching hot, then this isn't for you. I usually wait a bit to drink my tea or I steep the tea in another container then pour in the cup. I usually use water that is below boiling so the cup is usually just warm and it's fine. The cup is textured and the designs are cute. I dislike handles on teacups since I use both hands to drink.
