Perfect brightness and warm coloring with these 3000K bulbs for our rec room. These LED lamps worked perfectly in our 10 fluorescent fixtures with the ballasts in place.

The light color is exactly what I wanted. The lights we had in our office made the room blue so I went with the 4000k which is more natural light and now my walls look grey, which is what color they are!!

For some reason the bulbs work only facing a certain direction. I'm using as single ended, connected to non-shunted tombstones that I screwed onto a header(not sure if up to code). If you have some night lighting up, flip the tube around. Happy with my purchase. 30 lights connected for under 200. Can't beat that.

I replaced 32 overhead lights in my home workshop and gunsmith armory/forge area - the light is bright and strong and can’t be happier with the outcome, however if you’re replacing older ballast style fixtures, like I was, be prepared to encounter some that just will not function with ballasts in place - which is why I imagine many people purchase these. Is removing ballasts hard? No. It will be for most people now a days who don’t have the skills or intellect to change their own vehicles oil, but for the few rest of us it’s less than 5 minutes, but longer and a pain I wasn’t expecting - now that it’s over lighting is awesome and chucking poisonous ballasts into landfills for future generations to suffer from clearly was the end goal of this manufacturer - mission accomplished!

These are easy to install and seen decently sturdy. They are versatile because you can use them with or without a ballast. We bought them to replace fluorescent bulbs in a garage workroom. We ended up not using them because the lights we wanted to replace are much brighter. These bulbs are yellowy light and dimmer so in some ways a downgrade. If you want a light that is not so stark then these would be perfect for you.

These are good quality LED replacements for fluorescent tubes. Versatile, too, usable either without modifying the fixture, or by removing the ballast and rewiring the fixture. They arrived well packaged and with no breakage, even though the outside of the box was a bit the worse for wear. 30 seemed a lot, but I've already used all but 6 of mine.I opted to remove the ballasts from fixtures just to avoid future hassles when the ballasts inevitably burn out, and found it easy to rewire the fixtures with a bit of advice from YouTube videos. My first two-tube fixture took me 40 minutes (photos above), but it went much quicker as I went along, the last 4-tube drop-in fixture taking only 10 or 12 minutes. It's simple to rewire even without removing drop-in rec room fixtures from their place in the suspended ceiling.No breakage in shipping, as I mentioned, and only one bulb of the thirty was defective, flashing on and off when installed in two different fixtures.The result is a brighter workshop and rec room, and with a warmer-looking yellow light rather than the antiseptic blue light given off by the fluorescent tubes. Other advantages too: none of the buzzing sound sensitive individuals object to from fluorescent lighting, and some energy savings besides. I'm very happy with the quality of these LED tubes, and with the decision to replace them.
