Blue & Gold Chinese Cast Iron Teapot with Stainless Steel Tea Infuser (500ml/2.5 Cups)

Fantastic item.

I got 3 of these to use in herbal tea tastings. They are lovely to look at and serve their purpose well.

I love my teapot! Not only is it beautiful to display but it’s so easy to clean and works great with my loose tea!

Teapot arrived without a lid! This was a Christmas present and waiting to hear back from the Charbrew regarding a replacement or the missing lid!!

Arrived damaged so disappointing

As well as looking great, this teapot has a really nice feel to it. Being cast iron, it carries some weight, which adds to the overall feeling of quality. The diffuser does a perfect job of keeping all but the very finest powder from polluting the brewed tea.Washing is easy, although you do need to work a little as the opening is fairly small. In case you were wondering, I get 3 cups out of a full pot. The cups are the size you might see in a European cafe, so don't think you'll get 3 mug fulls, though.One thing to mention, is that the knob on the lid gets pretty hot. As well as holding heat very well, cast iron also gets hot to the touch, so you may need something to protect the fingers holding the lid as you pour.Despite that, I really love this teapot. It looks elegant and does the job beautifully.

Deceptively small teapot, fits a decent amount of water (500ml), looks great and keeps tea hot for a very long time. I like that it’s more round vs more traditional cast iron tea pots, this makes it more universal and also saves some space on a tray. Brews tea and pours tea very well, the lid does not fall off, no design flaws detected and the quality overall is great
