This single volume contains the more obscure works of the Austen canon, including 'Sanditon', 'The Watsons', and 'Lady Susan'.As with 99.9% of Ms Austen's work, these three little novels are charming, with a highly individual style, and could have been written by nobody else. Definitely worth a look if you've only ever met the standard works before.Add to this some absolutely delightful 'juvenilia' in the shape of a dotty 'History of England' and other thoroughly entertaining works, and altogether this book will keep you amused and charmed for days.My personal favourite is one of Ms Austen's few forays into drama: it's called 'The Secret' and is the length of a revue sketch - although cast in several quite elaborate locations - with an obviously big budget in mind. To read it is to love it: to perform it - or see it performed - would be a joy.I'm surprised it hasn't turned up on the BBC - as a very-mini-series!

Arrived quickly, very pleased

I just finished reading this collection of Austen’s unfinished and unpublished stories. I see her in a whole new light now, she was such a comic! Sanditon was enchanting, I am devestaed that it was never finished! I particularly loved her “History of England” Jane Austen is just all round brilliant.

Incredibly boring- I wouldn't have believed it was Jane Austen! Sanditon is actually Sidmouth in Devon, so someone living there might be interested.

Il libro raccoglie i romanzi incompiuti e una serie di lettere scritte da Jane Austen. Come sempre, Jane Austen è impareggiabile: i personaggi sono delineati benissimo, gli intrecci umani e coinvolgenti. L'unica nota deludente è che purtroppo possiamo solo immaginare come l'autrice avrebbe concluso i romanzi.

My wife really loves Jane Austen. Although this book was used, it is in really good condition. She enjoyed receiving this volume with additional stories from Jane Austen.

Enjoyed reading Austen's lesser-known works.
