I've purchased the Canter capsules several times. They are pretty good for the price and a nice alternative to Nespresso brand. I've had pretty good luck with them fitting and working well in my CitiZ&Milk machine overall. Unfortunately, the last purchase I made the capsules didn't work as well. The flow was slow and restricted and caused more than the usual amount of water to leak into the drip tray, hopefully this was fluke. I'll most likely purchase them again to see if they work better. I've tried both Canter and Pace. Both tasted really good.Update: I will no longer purchase these pods, the quality has gone downhill. I purchased another 100 pods of Canter and they all did not work well in my machine. The water flow was restricted and there were coffee grounds in my cup. It was hard to close the capsule latch when inserting a new pod, and they just don't taste as good as they previously were. I also noticed they've increased the prices. It's unfortunate, because I would have been a loyal customer. I guess I'm off to find something better.

We've tried so many different brands of pods for our Nespresso machines; Nespresso Original, Peet's, Starbucks, Target Brand, etc. The Equine Morgan pods are the absolute best we've had. My wife uses them for a Lungo and they are super smooth and not at all bitter. Great crema. I use them to make a latte and they are perfect. Every now and then we'll get a pod that has very low flow throughput, but that also happens with the original brand.

The Canter blend is a rich, creamy dark and delicious roast — no fruity or tangy notes, more malt — just how I like it. However.There is a real problem with either the capsule material or the design. Neither of my Nespresso OG machines (Citiz or Mini) like them. At best they just don't flow right (i get half a shot on a double at least 2 out of three tries) and at worst they just don't work. They seem to jam up the works, but don't ask me how or why — out of my wheelhouse. I would love for this manufacturer to do more testing and tweaking to get them right because they're a screaming deal — when they work.

Ever since I got into the whole Nespresso coffee maker craze, I wondered if the coffee pods that I was buying was worth the price they were charging for them. The least expensive ones that I found were sold by Target under their own brand, Archer Farms for $4.99 a box of 10. The taste was okay but they weren't very strong. While looking over the choices that Amazon has for coffee pods, I found this brand, Equine Coffee Pods, consisting of 10 boxes of 10 pods each for a price of $25. In other words, each of the pods cost $.25 which Is far less than anything else available.Of course, the question is "Are these any good?" The answer is a resounding "Yes." They have a smoky chocolate flavor to them and given how inexpensive they are, what I have been doing is first using one pod to make a double espresso and then in the same cup using other pod to make a single espresso. The combination gives me a nice strong cup of coffee for $.50 which is far less than what I would have paid if I was using my Keurig coffeemaker instead (since a box of 12 K cups typically costs around $10 making each one cost about 82 cents).As a comparison, I tried the Nespresso Kazaar brand that everybody raved about. Each of those pods cost about $.76 apiece. To be honest, while the Kaazar does taste good, it really isn't worth paying $.50 more for each of those pods as compared to each Equine coffee pod. Another advantage is not having to worry about constantly buying coffee pods since you're getting 100 pods at a time. Even if you use two of them per cup as I do, It is still cheaper than any other espresso brand you can buy with the exception of Target's own brand. The flavor is definitely worth it and I highly recommend buying these at your first opportunity..

I have bought Morgan capsules many times over the last about 16 months.I think the manufacturer is NOW substituting the normal Morgan variety for some other dark roast.The color of the capsule WAS purple but now black.The flavor of Morgan has changed, it is now more burnt, like a very dark/french roast, and not nearly as tasty (to me) as the original Morgan.The name on the box is still "Morgan".FYII have tried all the Equine coffee flavors.I have bought over 200 capsules of Morgan.This "new' batch is NOT Morgan.Morgan was is short supply and hard to find/buy prior to the substitution to the black capsules.Normally Amazon will not refund for food purchases, but they refunded me after I talked to them on the phone.

The coffee is great but 2 of the boxes were smashed and half of the pods wouldn’t work! I can’t return for a replacement so I’m stuck with them. Not cool.

This coffe aroma, taste and flavor. I would recomend it highly for anyone looking for excellent flavor, intesity and GREAT VALUE!

Really like these capsules as an alternative to name brands in the grocery store. Mostly based on price but these come very close. Definitely value and better than others I have purchased on Amazon.
