Buy one now before you have to wish you did sooner
if you do any sort of demo or remodels you need at least one of these, i have one of the smaller ones and two of the 56's. You cannot beat these, teeth take a beating but its a tool, its not supposed to stay pretty. I took up 1000 square feet in one 8 hour shift by myself! My old way of driving a 50 inch long pry bar and prying it up used to beat my back up pretty well but this thing is amazing, minimal effort and for anyone that wrote reviews about this being too heavy or bulky needs to find a different job. The 40 inch is great for close quarters like small laundry rooms and bathrooms, while the 56 is great for large open areas where you can really slam, jam, move it around. I should mention that the first time I used it was to remove 3/4 inch plywood sheeting from a class room floor. The second time i used it was to remove 1 inch tongue and groove floors from an old school gymnasium, I wish i had these things years ago, you just cant beat them. This is an easy way for contractors to save time, money, hassle, and their backs, if you dont have one you need one, they take up hardie, floor sheeting, sheetrock, roof comp shingles, thats all ive tried so far but im sure itll work for more as well. Dont second guess it anymore, just buy one.

Where have you been whole life?
I had to remove tile and backer board in my kitchen and pantry. I struggled through removing 85 percent of the tile with a steel bar. I’m 54 and I was worn out! I started looking for alternatives. Then I found the “Honey Badger Wrecking Bar”. I purchased the larger size. What a great tool. I was able to remove the rest of the tile as well as about 400sq ft of backer board off of a wood sub floor in about an hour. Most of that time was removing material to the road outside. I definitely will sing it’s praises and use it in all of my demolition projects. Great quality, easy to use, ergonomically designed in order to limit fatigue. Thank you for designing a great tool! Well worth the price.

Makes short work of demolition!
After spending way too much time using traditional pry-bars and nail pullers at the start of a major flooring tear up, I decided to purchase the Honey Badger 56" Demo Fork. With it, I accomplished in less than three minutes what it took over a half-hour to do using the traditional tools. The fork easily grabbed hold of several layers of flooring material and in seconds I was able to get the tool under it and begin leveraging the flooring up. I'm tearing up vinyl flooring over plywood and hardwood planks over 1x sub-floor planks. In both cases, the flooring came up completely, nails and all. And, I was able to stand the whole time, which helps reduce fatigue and increases the amount of force I can apply to the tool. It's solid, strong, and very well built! The Honey Badger Demolition Fork was a smart buy for my large project and will be my go-to tool for future demolition work.

If you are doing demo of floors or anything else, this is a must have
I am in the process of gutting a 1700 sq. foot first floor home down to the studs. I am also pulling up all the sub flooring down to the floor joists. After finding out that the person that nailed this down, insisted on using 10 nails every 5 inches, I decided to give this a try. First, for flooring planks, this tool cuts like butter through the wood lifting it up. For 4 x 8 sheets like I have, it's still a fantastic tool. I am a tool guy and do not mind spending more for a quality tool. This is one of those tools. If you think you will get the same effort using a pry bar from your local big box store, you won't. This thing is heavy gauge steel and you won't be able to bend or break it. You can put all your body weight plus pound on it with a sledge hammer and it won't bend or break. tractor. It's not just for floors either. I have used it to know down ceiling drywall, pry cabinets up off floor and away from wall. Basically if you to do any type of demo, you will want this tool.

Tile? Backer board? Hardwood? Honey Badger don't care!
This is a kick-ass tool that really speeds up demo. While most of the online vids seem to show people randomly busting up stuff with it, I find it most helpful to go slow and use leverage to pull up large chunks of tile with the backer board so that clean up is easier. It really depends on the job and how it's all attached. A poorly installed job will be easier to remove than one done right. Even if done right, I think the Honey Badger would help in removal more than most other tools.Honey Badger really shines in pulling up nailed plank floors. Our contractors stood in amazement as I zipped through a floor and they could barely keep up hauling away the debris. This thing is heavy and rather long. As a result, you'll often find it difficult in corners or smaller rooms. I may buy the shorter fork and sell this larger one. Unless you're a big, strong person who works on a contracting crew, the leverage of the smaller one is probably enough.

this is a beast
I have used one of those 6’ solid steel wrecking bars for years. Using these as a lever creates tremendous mechanical advantage but the point of the bar also carries a terrific load when using it as a lever. After using this tool mainly on demolition, one day I tried the honey badger while I was clearing some fallen trees on areas too hilly for mechanical equipment. The honey badger is built like a wrecking bar everywhere it counts but improves upon it with the wider base. The load is distributed across the steel tines…it sort of like using 4 bars at one time. it doesn’t sink as deep into dirt either. I have moved large stumps and sections of tree without putting a “dent” (actually a bend) in the honey badger. need more leverage go get a steel pipe to fit over the handle.whether you are demolishing a deck or clearing land, this bar is a must!

Nice tool, strong but not quite enough
Works well, could be a little bit stronger, need to be careful with prying, with a strong amount of force I feel like it bend at the joint where it meets the fork, it stared to give and chipped the paint as it buckled slightly. Still very much useable just has a lot of leverage that if your not careful you can over stress it.
