Cheap and nasty a lot of plastic probably more plastic than metal I suppose you get what you pay for it’s tiny aswell maybe suitable for caching gold fish this won’t last 5 mins

I love using this reel as it has a smooth action and is very attractive with the red accents. The bail has a nice positive sounding click when activated. The drag is smooth and the cork knob feels nice to grip and use. The only complaint I had with this reel is with the handle screw. Unless that thing is torqued down very tightly, it comes loose during fishing.Super solid value, especially if you are budget conscious and not into dropping or more on a high end spinning reel. Not the lightest in weight, but pretty much bullet proof. Bought a couple of these (sizes 35 and 30) for chasing river smallies via canoe and kayak - translation: they get banged around and they get wet. Held up well all summer long - even with a few 8-10lb stripers thrown in. Excellent casting distance with a variety of lure types / weights and the drag system performs flawlessly.

This reel is nicely designed, theres no fancy packaging and its made from very lightweight material but the features included are perfect for those starting out in the sport. My nephew has used this with a basic pole and he loves it, just the right size and weight for him and not too complex for him at the start. Simple but effective tool that will allow a beginner to grow in knowledge and confidence.

My father is teaching my son how to fish and he has been using this fishing reel. Lightweight, compact and sturdy material. It is very easy for a teenager to use, perfect for beginners. It is easy for him to set it up and easy for him to use. Safe and secure for children to use.

This was a small lightweight reel. Perfect for spinning on calming waters. It can’t use the bigger lines but it is perfect for the smaller 8lb line
