This waist belt does what it says IF you wrap it correctly- tightly-and find your sweet spot. When I say sweet spot I am referring to the length of your torso in and the distance between each wrap around. So I gave it 4 stars because the little loop should be a bit sturdier as opposed to flimsy and hardly being able to hold the wrap while you go around the first time. Straight out of the package the belt smells like vinegar. I get it- sending it overseas or whatever the case may be - the Bo agent will keep orders away, but DANG! Once you air it out for a day or two, the smell is much less. After the first wash with tide- it is still faintly present. Overall this is a great starter wrap for those just beginning on their wrapping journey.My advice to the company would be to adjust the strength on the loop. You got a decent product here. The Velcro is strong and sturdy, the wrap is strong so far. It does what it is supposed to. Just adjust that loop so people will feel a tad more comfortable with the first wrap and try something other than the overpowering vinegar smell.

Excellent for post surgery. Wife liked product.
