I thought this was a brand new product . It is not yet I paid FULL price for it .Upon arrival the box was taped up , the batteries for the product where already inserted and cables that don't even come with this product (RCA to 3.5mm jack) where in the box .Not happy at all I've been sold a product that has previously been used !

I have just completed test's with IK Multimedia iRig Stream Pro.Note when I say this unit does not work with Android phones I am refering to the Samsung Galaxy A12 specifically the one I have.Unsuitable for some Android devices, so if its an Android you have and your purchasing this iRig Stream Pro there is a good chance you will encounter compatability issues or it may not work at all.Camera apps on Android such as "Open Camera" and "Camera Plus" these work fine with the "iRig Stream" but not as well with the "iRig Stream Pro"FB (FacebookLive) using through Android Phone.. you get sound then immediately off then immediately back on, with the blue green and red lights blinking unit completely shuts down.It almost felt like there was a problem the irigI was just about to return the unit as being faulty, I held off from that and acquired an Iphone SE instead.Immediately the irig was connected to the Iphone it works flawlessly with no issues.Understand that FBLIVE There is no sound until "Go Live" Button pressed.Also the case with some third party camera apps.Using an Iphone the unit has worked, but I'm just not sure about the quality of sound, connecting my Iphone and using the Iphone camera app to record music namely guitar and backing tracks connected through the Irig Stream Pro brought a good quality sound.Record through FB LIVE and the quality is OK but its not perfect.I will point out this nothing to do with the Irig Stream Pro its more to do with compression on the FB Website.A lot depends on what recording your doing while on FB Live, It really isn't set up for music live performance not for my set up.Its more for Podcasting, conference, speech, or someone in front of a mic with an acoustic guitar.FB Live its a mixed bag of results in some instances an OK sound but its not going to be quality sound tweaking here and there might bring you small results.I'm still testing this unit, So far I'm not happy with it but its too early to condemn.Compatability issues with Android device's was the most frustrating.I would suggest that the unit isn't really designed to work with the Android system given the fact I have come across others on the web who have had a mixed bag of problems using the iRIG system through their Android device, however you might be lucky but don't hold your breath.IK Multimedia Support Team wrote:Unfortunately, the Android platform has a wide range of devices and user experiences may vary.We would recommend to consult with Meta regarding their app functionality.You can use your IK hardware with a wide range of IOS devices; we would recommend to consult with Apple regarding the right item for your budget.So any problems encountered while connecting to an Android, It's an Iphone you need..Problems solved.

Paid full price (£10 more than IK website) and received a used item. What a joke.
