Great Protective Vest. My miniature dachshund wears hers everytime she’s out. Very colorful so easy to keep an eye on her. She bounces and runs all around and I can always see her. It does not impede her flexibility or speed. Love it.

The media could not be loaded. While my dog may look silly to some people, the accessories for her protection bring me so much comfort. Plus, there is some added bonus that the spikes are tall and it deters her from crawling under things like bushes.The pack came with 4 attachments, but 3 is enough to fill the vest for my dog. Having the 4th one was poking her ears. My dog doesn’t even notice she is wearing all of the protective accessories. It was easy to put together. It’s great!!

I purchased these to attach on a tactical vest for my chihuahua grandpuppy because of hawks and owls. They were a lighter alternative to the many metal spikes required for coverage. They cover the entire vest which has ample velcro stitched on it. The problem I've had is the velcro that comes with the whiskers is not strong enough to hold them attached and required hand stitching to secure them. Unfortunately the vest now can only be used for the country and another vest is needed for the car and work.

Purchased this vest the other day, when 3 coyotes approached my pack of dogs in the yard (4pm) 2 of my dogs are 75 & 80 lbs… The one they were sizing up was my 43 lb puppy (11 months). I purchased the large size (she was 1 inch too big for the med.) it’s a little big, but with the Velcro it works fine. The only thing I wish was that it was also heat resistant or a cooling vest as well. She is very active and I’m afraid she will over heat. Also with the spikes it inhibits her ability to play with her housemates and other dogs… But as you can see in the video it does not distract her movement at all… and if you want to deter other dogs (not just coyotes) this should do the trick… I’ll probably just put it on her when there aren’t a lot of dogs around or early moaning/early evening for added piece of mind. As she’s a friendly dog and loves to engage in play at the parks/trails…Will update if is used for its intended purpose… (hoping it will never come to that)

for the labor involved with assembling the whiskers, the product should be half the price. The description reads that the DIY component is easy and fun, when it is anything but. It is painstakingly tedious, and for someone who has RA and OA of the hands, by no means “easy.” I expected some assembly/somewhere, but this is a joke! have fun dealing with each individual whisker because that’s what you’re getting yourself into!! My dog is worth it but … yuck! I feel like an employee on the assembly line who should be getting paid for this effort lol!prepare to devote like an hour of your life to putting these whiskers on yourself.hopefully, they the the vest and shield actually work because this process sucks.Not to mention, this company does not make returns very easy and will not just refund to the Amazon balance and do a Kohl’s drop off like other sellers. Also, buyer beware, the size chart isn’t exactly accurate. I followed it and vest is still too long for my dog !

The whiskers are great at protecting our little dog from the rough-housing of our larger dogs. I can't say whether these Coyote Whiskers would prevent wild animal attacks (probably not). However, a solid concept is poorly executed. The velcro is the most pitiful I have ever encountered. All she has to do is shake, and they come flying off. Also, the actual coyote vest sold by this company is very overpriced. I bought a tactical vest in her size for $25 and that works great. I had to source replacement velcro and figure out a better way to attach each bundle of whiskers to the velcro, because again, as designed the attachment mechanism (little slider bars) are not sturdy and don't say attached to the velcro.

I don’t have the coyote vest but we don’t have coyotes here but I’m worried about birds of prey as there is an eagles nest across the road. I put the hawk eyes and whiskers on his tactical vest. Hopefully they will scare off birds of prey. Only issue is the cats think he’s a toy now and are attacking him because of the whiskers.The whiskers were a pain to put together. Only two fit on the jacket as he’s small.

It's a little fiddly to assemble as I have arthritis in my hands, however it is a deterrent to birds of prey

I do hope it will help with predators.You do need to buy the Coyote vest, and Amazon does not seem to carry it, so you have to buy either from Amazon.com or the manufacturer. Not sure what is the best option?It took me 1/2 and hour to thread all the whiskers. The information on Amazon says it is fun to do. Wow, they must not have much fun things to do in the USA. I would not consider it fun at all. My time is money!Low stars due to the cost and the fact that you have to thread the whiskers though yourself.I really think this company would sell far more if they lowered the price. Overall, they would make more money.

Price is atrocious. Build it yourself takes dexterity and time.
