You can use this anywhere you are working with food. I use it on my wooden cutting boards and my pocket knife.

I had completely forgotten that a wooden peel needs to have food oil applied every now and then. I was noticing it just seeming to be extra dry after a year and I was worried it would soon become warped. I looked through dozens of other food oils and chose this one as its a small volume bottle so I can store it with my spices. And there were plenty of good comments with ratings by many people much smarter than me on this subject. I have been in the foods industry in the past so I'm aware of its significant importance for the health considerations as well as maintaining the wood kitchen tools. After applying it, there was a remarkable change in the state and appearance of the pizza peel. It appeared relatively new again, as I use it about every 10 days. The next time, I didn't need near as much. There's no residue nor oily feeling whatsoever. Extremely happy with this product.

This pil was easy to apply and to wipe off the excess. Not sticky at all. It soaked deeply into the wood of my handmade cutting board. It gave the wood a beautiful sheen. Very happy with it, indeed.

I reworked my old butcher block. After sanding it down I applied pretty liberally with a rag this product. I didn’t notice any strong oders and it soaked in pretty much. My butcher block has a lot of character marks but feels smooth and clean. I’m pleased with how it turned out.

Nice container design with pointed dispensing tip that can screw down to close. Product seems good and as advertised. I use it on my hair, due to the dry skin on my scalp. I use anti-dandruff shampoo and, while that does the job, it adds some trouble to my scalp. The oil helps. I tired other oils, like Vaseline brand mineral oil treatment for the hair and scalp, but it has chemicals in it and it's made in India, which means less certain quality control. I also used another mineral oil, but it had a fragrance chemical in it. No thanks on that. I would give this a 5-star, but too many of that rating can't be trusted; 4-starts is my own top rating unless I am jumping out of my shorts shouting with joy. I can't do that for mineral oil.
