CE Smith offer a 40 inch for smaller boats or a 60 inch for a bigger boat. I got the 60 inch which would have a bigger trailer frame to attach the hardware to the frame, CE Smith gives the same hardware as the 40 inch hardware. The u bolts should be 6 inch long instead of 5 inch long. Come on!! CE SMITH. I HAD To order the 6 inch hardware when it should have been already supplied!! Delayed and not happy!

Okay, I read lots of other reviews and decided I needed to modify the installation some to suit my personal needs. First, I did not like the fact that the PVC sleeve could not spin when the boat rub rail struck it. I corrected this by placing the square stock in a vice and pressing the key for the PVC sleeve back to being flush. Yes, the PVC sleeve is about 4 inches shorter now since it rests at the 90 degree bend in the bracket. But for me that worked out very well. Next, I wanted to eliminate any issue with loosing the PVC cap or even theft of the sleeves themselves. I used 1/16” stainless steel cable to “tie” the cap and sleeve to the bracket. I put the cable through the existing hole in the cap, made a very small loop using an aluminum crimping sleeve. Then, for the bottom connection of the cable I again made a very small loop using the crimping sleeve, drillers hole in the bracket almost to where it was at the end of the horizontal end of the 99 free bend, and attached the cable using a stainless steel screw and washer. Some may think I’m crazy, but not I don’t have to worry about anything. The sleeves should make a lot less marks when they can spin, and I won’t be loosing sleeves or caps to bouncing or theft. I gave this product a 4.The Good:First of all, the height for those that don't know is from the bottom of the bracket to the top of the pvc tube. So my suggestion is to go long. The metal brackets are definitely strong so you don't have to worry about getting flimsy metal material that will bend if you bump your boat up against it. Easy to install and the 90 degree angle was what i was looking for (i own a continental trailer with a j16 carolina skiff)The bad:The box arrived in horrible condition. A washer fell out when the delivery driver dropped it off at my doorstep. Luckily all the nuts and U-bolts were there...so wasn't missing any parts. The black PVC poles were fairly well scuffed up. I like my stuff to look nice and polished. The improper packaging was to blame. Looks like this box and contents were not properly packaged and roughed up.Would have gotten a 5 star but the packaging and care dropped it down to a 4

BEWARE! Read the description before buying...Dummy me, I failed to do so. It says "Fits frames up to 3" w x 4-1/4" H".My trailer frame is 3" wide X 5" high so, I can't mount it without buying the longer U-bolt kit.Otherwise, it looked as advertised.I will update with photos when I get the longer U- bolt kit and have it mounted on the trailer.

Bought these for my 2017 tracker trailer, I also bought the lighted tops because I do a lot of nightfishing,they work great, very solid, having the lighted tops is incredible, I'm very happy with this purchase well worth the money

I was looking for a set of trailer guides to make loading and unloading our boat easier. These fit the bill perfectly. Easy to install and worked out great at the ramp. Highly recommend.

I installed these to replace one with a plastic elbow, of which I had lost one. these fit nicely, I had to bend the tubes out about an 1" while installing. Went on easily and was dont in less that 20 minutes including removing one of the old ones.When loading the boat these flex way less than my plastic ones and as such hold the boat much more accurately in side current of a river launch (or wind).

The upright PVC is gouged, not scratched, Gouged to the point I will have to cut that much off of the PVC to use it there for I no longer have 60” guide ons! The packaging of this product is very poor, one side of the box was ripped open exposing everything in the box, I’m really surprised all the hardware stayed in the box. I guess it wouldn’t bother me so bad if I had time to return them, we have vacation starting next week and I need these.
