The Bar and Sole Rasp-2 'PRO' Narrow

I’ve been learning to trim myself, and this tool has helped a lot in smoothing out those difficult areas around the bars and sole when you don’t want to dig too much with the hoof knife!

Between this sole rasp and the black radius rasp I have eliminated the farrier. I can do it myself. My mule wears no shoes. Between the normal wear from riding and weekly touch ups with these tools, her hoofs are great!

Worked pretty good for cleaing up the bars, teeth fill up fast hand have to be cleaned out frequently, which is fine, but today mine snapped in half while I was using it. I have had it about 7 months and only use it on two horses. Really not happy about this since I was not putting that much pressure on it when it broke and I have taken excellent care of it keeping it clean and free of rust.

This is a very well made tool and works great - Had questions about the different products and the customer service is excellent.

This is my second hoof pick I’ve purchased from EVO hoof care. My first was the white version with the conventional rasp curve. I like how it fits in my hands and how strong the pick part holds up against even my largest horses mud packed hooves. The curve also allows me to secure the pick in a leather loop on my farrier chaps. Yes it is on the high end for a hoof pick but if you don’t loose it like I did on a fence somewhere it will be your last one you buy.

It is a great help to work on the sole. Easy to use!
