Protection!
I installed these bars on my 2018 KLR 650 and I love them.They offer great protection for my plastics and foot shifter and also my legs. There is a significant increase in vibration because they're like giant tuning forks that magnify the vibration of the engine. I cut some thick tube into squares and placed them between the bars and the frame and it definitely helped, but there's still a ton of vibration. For my application, a lot of offroad, I think they're worth it for the added protection. But if all my miles were highway, I wouldn't have these bars on because of the vibration.

Great Protection for Bike and Yourself!
These bars were the perfect choice for me. Installation was easy and straightforward; I strongly recommend using thread lockers (blue) on all fasteners because of vibration. The bars protected the bike after a simple fall in mud and were wide enough to prevent the handle bars from hitting the ground as well. Additionally, my legs are well tucked inside providing more protection from falls.Only downside is the metal cage acts like a running fork and amplifies vibration on the bike. Not horrible but noticable. Knowing this, I would still buy again!

Absolutely best crash bars for the klr
I chose these crash bars over all the other brands available because they’re the only ones I found that includes light mounts. The install took less time than cutting off all the plastic wrap, half hour in all. I’m very impressed with how they look and how solid they are. Can’t wait for my next crash to test em out.

They're pretty nice, some flaws in the powdercoat cause it ...
HIT A DEER GOING 65MPH with these bars installed! They saved my bike 100% I couldn't believe it! Got up off the ground after a few choice words, stood my bike up and it was fine! I rode it the rest of the way to work!! Awesome bars! When I can afford to I'm definitely buying a new set! Until then I'll keep running these, that's how tough they are!!!

Great buy
Took me about 30 minutes to install, easy. This shizza is solid...I can see why people crash and the bike is fine. My legs fit easily on the inside of the bar's radius. Great mounts for fog lights, too.

What you need for bike falls
Nice front protection. Good symmetry. The picture posted on lower portion of listing shows rear protection that is not included and sold separately. The cardboard box arrived crushed and there was some damaged powder coating. Very minor. Shipping was quick. LO
