Snappy Flavacol Popcorn Salt, 35oz

CONFIRMED: it takes very little to get the taste just right, and one carton of this flavored salt will take you far. Other reviews are correct, as I have discovered myself with the first batch of stovetop popcorn the same day I received the Flavacol. For those who use a Whirley-Pop, the right measurement is from 1/2 to no more than 3/4 tsp along with the light coating of oil, and depending on your popcorn brand and kernel size, that runs from 1/2 cup to 2/3 cup (roughly 4 oz). The results are right, and for now I have some in a dredge. If I'm in a hurry, and don't wish to keep taking off the top to measure, then I will tilt that to dispense some into the pot, but at least I have a good eye to approximate how much is dispensed. I'm confident this information will help other popcorn lovers out there. Just note as there IS a "Premier Flavacol" with natural color sources that you can also get according to the carton label, but whichever one you choose, this is the real deal and you'll feel that the theatre has come home.

Lasts forever. We make popcorn in our Whirly Pop weekly, this stuff lasts for years. All my siblings have a stash. The 3 pack can feed multiple families for 5 years. Such good flavor, we swear by this stuff, won't make popcorn without it! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This salt makes you feel like you’re at the movies! But BEWARE do not shake this on your popcorn all Willy nilly as it is super salty and a little goes a LONG way, like a teaspoon is too much in my opinion. I bet the carton could last me a year or even years! But I do enjoy it. Try mixing with some coconut oil if you pop your corn that way.

this is the saltiest salt on earth. you really need to practice and dial in how much salt you use. just a tiny bit goes a super long way. this one little box will probably last a large movie theatre like a month or more if i had to guess. super powerful. do not buy 2 unless ur gifting it. when u use the popcorn coconut oil and then add some melted butter on top it turns out the same as the movie theatre for a fraction of the cost. for about 30 to 60 bucks depending on how much real butter u need you can make some 500+ buckets of movie theatre pop corn. That would cost about 4 grand at the theatre. so get ur woman a bigger purse.

I use this in my Whirley Pop popper. The key is to put it in at the same time as the kernels and oil. NOT AFTER THE POPCORN IS POPPED. This gives a perfect distribution. I use less than a quarter teaspoon--a little goes a long way. Use coconut oil with this salt to achieve the perfect movie popcorn in the comfort of your own home.
