Beautiful Knife but it does have some flaws
First off the knife is beautiful. I bought it for myself as a gift, to carry and for woodworking. The handle is nice. Has a little gap on one side. No big deal, it doesn't affect anything and it's not super noticeable. The blade came in good shape, no dents, or dings. Somewhat dull, again no big deal I also purchased a knife sharpener and got it pretty close to razor sharp. Unfortunately with it being super sharp it did almost cut off the sheaths loop within a few days of carry. Not a major fan of the sheath but for the money I am pretty happy overall. I did notice the edge is kind of soft and will often fold or even gouge if I am working with it. I am working on a Pine walking stick and it seems to dull and damage the blade edge quite easily. Again for the money it isn't breaking my heart. Throw it on the Ken Onion sharpener and it is back to scary sharp. But i fear one day the blade will be ground down to a point where it will be useless from having to repair gouging.. But i guess at that time i will probably just buy another. So overall the knife is good looking, it is holding a good edge for the most part if you carry and not cut anything but boxes it's perfect. Softer woods are no match for this thing either. The sheath is actually pretty nicely made and works perfectly fine, just gotta move the loop before putting it in there. I'm not sure if the edge issue is because it isn't hardened properly or if it's just me being too aggressive. But the blade is real Damascus. You can totally see the layers in the sharpened edge where i have it polished. So if that is a concern, fear not this is the real deal. Can you find better knifes? Sure, better handmade knifes? Subjective but sure. For the money? Heck no. There is no comparison for the money this is a good buy. The company is doing good work I have two of their knifes this one and a chopper twice the size of this one. Both are good deals for sure. I will probably buy another style soon from them. I do really enjoy the look and the craftsmanship is there the tiny flaws are just something to remember nothing is perfect but you can always get close.

Handmade Damascus cleaver EDC
Great hand made bush craft knife! Full tang steel. Real Damascus blade. Not as large as I thought it would be but it fits great on a belt. Shipped in 4 days with standard shipping. Was well packaged and pre oiled. Sheath is handmade leather with a seal of Oklahoma clasp. The sheath is also made well with solid rivets and strong double stitching. The sheath came dry and could use some good leather conditioning or mink oil. Just my preference. Knife came super sharp. Got razor sharp with a stone sharpener. The blade is thick and heavy enough to chop but sharp enough to be a skinner. I plan on using it as an every day carry. I will definitely look at purchasing more from Poshland knives.

very nice knife
it's a very nice looking knife but the edge was more grinded in a 45 degree angle and I had to sharpen it to a more usable 20 degree angle

but it's still a nice one. Don't like the leather on the back ...
The sheath isn't the same, but it's still a nice one. Don't like the leather on the back of it that rests on the back of the handle, since I use the knife for self defense and work purposes, but easily fixed after learning how to get around it. All together a very nice knife, and I am likely to purchase from these makers again.

Well Done
Such a great knife. I use this knife for work and around the house, and decided on this style because of its full tang and the lesser ability to use it as a pry bay that would snap off the tip. The steel is beautiful, the handle firm, and the sheath is durable. The steel is hard enough and thick enough to take a beating, but soft enough that it's easy to sharpen to a razor edge. I don't ever write reviews, but this knife and Poshland Knives deserve a "well done."

Better then meh
Not a bad knife. Wont lie this thing comes pretty dull but if you know how to sharpen a knife it can get pretty sharp and holds an edge well. It's pretty nice.
