Huge improvement
I love my AT-44. The gun is super accurate and offers up a great value in air guns. My biggest issue has been with the bell curve shot velocity string. I ran a single tank test with this regulator and what a difference. The velocity came down from a 1100 fps peak (.177 cal). to a manageable 900 fps. Even out to shot 30 on the regulator was in the 770 range (720 unregulated). I still get 40 usable shots and the last few shots are still giving me 720s. After 40 the fall off is pretty steep (about 15 fps per shot). This will not give you any more shots than an unregulated rifle, but it will give you a more consistent shot velocity. This regulator is easy to install (youtube has an easy to follow guide) but basically you bleed off the air in the tank, remove the valve by unscrewing it from the tank, remove the derlin gasket, install the regulator cup, install and screw down the regulator valve, and re-pressurize the tank. A couple hints: I used silicon diver grease on all the prints (it makes installation easier and helps prevent the o-rings from ripping- but just use a very light layer- just enough to make the o-rings look wet). The valve can be difficult to remove by hand, but a set of channel locks with duct tape on the Jaws will make removing it a lot easier. When re-installing the main o-rings will hang up on the threads (hence the use of the grease) just work slowly and carefully and there won't be any issues. Save the derlin gasket in case you want to go back to unregulated power (no idea why you would want to). When you have the tank opened up be sure to check for moisture (a sign that your filling practices need moisture control). I had NO moisture in my tank (a great sign) and all I use to fill is a important compressor with the cotton online filter. Total install took 10 minutes including refilling the tank. This works great for evening out the AT-44 shot string.

No lo compres
Disminuye la potencia a la mitad y la cantidad de disparos gasta demasiado aire

Less power and less shots in my BT65 .22 cal
After installing this regulator my Hatsan now gets 35 shots per fill (200 bar down to 100 bar). It was getting 40 shots per fill before I installed it with much more power. I knew that it would take up some volume in the air cylinder but I still expected to increase shot count not decrease it. I suppose it may increase accuracy a little but the trade-off is just not worth it to me. I'm not trying to leave a bad review, I just hope this helps somebody decide before they order if this is really what they want.Update:Okay, after doing some research I found that you have to remove the oring on the valve that seals the end of the cylinder so that the regulator can breathe. I was a little reluctant to do this at first but it just does not work right until you do. It still has less power but now it has more shots so I'm happy with it. My only gripe is but they do not give you directions.

No instuctions provided
Sure you can find instructions on the web, however, they should be in the box or at least provide a web address, Some regulators are adjustable, some not. Supposedly this one is. You can never be sure of anything posted on the web unless it is on the manufacturer's website. NOTE- just be sure to drain the air cylinder completely before installation.

Does not regulat well. . .
the regulation of this device was very little.I still had wide swings, swings that were almost as wide as without the regulator.

Works, but has issues
It does what it is supposed to, to a degree. This is for the first generation Hatsan AT44 - Hatsan no longer uses the older valve design with the plastic push in valve spring plug. There is a problem with the little nipple that goes into the valve body - it has no secure way of staying put. It is just a friction fit, without much friction. The valve spring just kept pushing it away, even when the regulator was inserted in the air tube. I had to find a weaker valve spring so the reg would stay connected to the valve.
