Q: Anyone know which of the yumi sandals provides support but cushioning on the sole because the yumi plus support my foot but not much sole cushioning ?

I’m not sure what the Yumi “plus” is. My husband owns 2 pair of these Yumi “Pure”. I own 4 of this sandal in women’s. My husband has flat feet and he loves these. Excellent support and the footbed is very cushioned. This is an orthotic flip flop. I have also given these as gifts. Everyone loves this sandal. I actually own over 20 pairs of various Spenco’s. I think they are the best. Your feet (back, hips & knees) will thank you. I highly recommend this “Pure” Spenco.

Q: How are these for plantar fasciitis sounds like these a different model than the older one that people liked for (pf)

Unlike the other Spenco sandals, the Pure like have a noticeably softer footbed, that so covered in some kind of synthetic fiber. Yes there are somewhat more comfortable. However the fabric makes them somewhat slippery. The fabric is also highly absorbent of wetness, dirt and odors, plus it is not terribly durable. You may want to consider the Yumi plus line which is not quite as soft, but far more durable.

Q: Can anyone that has had Plantar Fasciitis let me know if these sandals help alleviate or not cause more pain?

Yes, certainly for me these sandals alleviated my PF. I couldn’t walk barefoot indoors during to pain. These worked great as my indoor “slippers” I recommend you try them!
