A cute feel-good read ....
This was my first read by Maren Moore and I have to say - I really enjoyed it!!We have the main man Liam, a single dad of two of the cutest wee princesses, and a coach in ice-hockey. After having to give up the NHL, getting a coach's job is the next best thing so he's loving life! Apart from having to leave his girls, this is where Juliet comes in!She's a struggling waitress, trying to make ends meet and keep up the payments for her nan in a nursing home (I love her!) when she sees a job offer for a nanny....It was cute, it had humour, it had honesty, attraction and it had a feel-good vibe - what more could you ask for!?

Such a cute and enjoyable read 💜
The Newspaper Nanny was one of my most anticipated reads, and Maren Moore did it again because she gave us an outstanding book that is hard not to love.Single dad Romance? Check; Nanny Romance? Check; Hockey Romance? Check. This was such a cute and enjoyable read, it has some of the tropes I die for, so the moment I started reading best believe I was glued to my kindle until I finished. This story has all the feels; it has angst, tension, humor, chemistry, love, and on top of that, it had amazing characters.Juliet has such a sweet and kind soul, and she is not going through the easiest moment; she is trying to afloat while working as much as she can to pay for her Nana's nursing home, paying her rent, and trying to find a way to finish her degree in Early Childhood Education. The job she has is not being of much help, and in the middle of her desperate search for a new one, almost like fate, she stumbles upon an ad in the Sunday paper that says Nanny Needed.Liam, an ex-hockey player, a single dad, and now the new coach of the NHL team Chicago Avalanche; his daughters are the most important thing to Liam, accepting the coach position comes with a lot of changes, and he doesn't want those changes affecting Aria & Kennedy's life, so now he is on the hunt for a nanny, but the more people he interviews, the more he is starting to doubt he will find the right one for his daughters; that is until he meets Juliet.Juliet & Liam try to keep things professional, but with the undeniable connection and chemistry between them, that becomes a hard thing to do, even though they try to resist. Liam is a bit grumpy at times, but he is such a great father; I completely fell in love with everything he does for them, between those things we have, braiding hair, and watching Frozen a trillion times. Juliet creates such an adorable relationship with Aria & Kennedy, something Liam notices, and he can't help but love; she is the piece that Liam feels has been missing. Seeing them turn into a family was wholesome; this book got me swooning most of the time. This book was everything, and I loved it (in case you can't tell already by my review). All I can say is that you need The Newspaper Nanny in your life! Also, that little cameo of Sophia & Hayes (The Enemy Trap) got me smiling so hard!!

Amazing x
The second book by Maren was just as good as the first. If you haven’t read The Enemy Trap yet by her you are missing out! Like I said in my review of that I love everything that R Holmes writes and I also love everything she writes under this name! This was a single dad/nanny, sports, grumpy/sunshine romcom and I loved every single hilarious page of it. I literally devoured it in 2 hours. It was so good.Liam and his daughters Ari & Kennedy were the cutest trio ever. I mean, who doesn’t swoon over a single dad raising 2 daughters, learning to braid hair and knowing every word to Frozen. 🥰 I completely fell in love with Liam and all his broken pieces. He was such a good man who only wanted to do the best by his girls no matter what. Now throw in Juliet and the trio became a real family. The instant connection Juliet felt not just with Liam but with both girls was so sweet to read, I loved it. She was the perfect addition to their family life and though it wasn’t without its complications, it was always meant to be.I adored this whole story, it was sweet and wholesome and just had me smiling the whole way through! I loved the little cameo at the end with Hayes & Sophia too 🥰 such a good book and I think everyone should read it!

A great read!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I’m a sucker for a single dad especially if he’s a little bit grumpy so it goes without saying that I liked Liam. Having spent the last few years concentrating on raising his young daughters, ex hockey player Liam had landed a coaching job which means he now finds himself in need of a nanny. Been the hands on, protective dad he is no one that applies is good enough to be around his girls and as a last ditch effort to find someone, he places an ad in the newspaper.Juliet is in desperate need of a job and when she spots Liam’s ad, it sounds like the answer to her problems. I loved the instant connection between Juliet and the girls, she’s too sweet with them. The attraction between Juliet and Liam is instant and I loved the chemistry between them. This is another really good, enjoyable read from Ms Moore.

Fun read!!
Liam is a former NHL player, who is a single dad, and a hockey coach, and with his career path taking him away from home he advertises for a live-in nanny for his little girls. Juliet has had a tough and needs a fresh start as she is having financial difficulties which caused her to put an end to studying, and she now works in a diner, and when she is looking through some newspapers, she comes across her dream job. The chemistry between Liam and Juliet is combustible and undeniable, and I loved the instant bond she had with his little girls. This is a well written story which is heartwarming, emotionally charged, and with tension, humor, and love, which leads to an endearing and entertaining addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
