I’m glad I kept scrolling thru the pages and found them … finding a set of 3 was perfect for my needs …They slide on with ease and there is no forcing it past the largest eye they slip right past it , the elastic strap is a must have feature ( I don’t see why anyone would want one with out a reel strap to hold them on securely). the quality looks good, and the loop at the tip is a plus if you want to vertically hang them up…. Pictured are 7’ 3” —7’ 0”— 6’ 6” Rods The 7’ 3” Is the MAX I would try to use it on !! As product description says .. It fits PERFECTLY on a 7’ 0” ( so 7’1” or 7’ 2” would be a gr8 fit as well ) on the 6’ 6” Rod I made 2 rolls in the sock and WAA LAA nicely fits :-). I’d recommend them to every level of ( to not offend anyone ) Fisher type of human beings that luv and go fishing and want to protect their investments. ……

Needed something for my spinning reels and these work great, fit over all the eyes on the rod. They were longer than I needed but no big thing. I just cut them to length and used a heat shrink to close the end, worked out great.

I like them. I have been hesitant to buy these for years, although transporting rods has been chipping the paint a lot. These fit great and stretch over the large lower eyelets on 7' Spinning inshore rods. I have no reason not to recommend this item to anyone wanting rod protection.

Very happy with the sleeve. My casting rod slides in very smoothly, and it protects the rod/line very well. Highly recommended.

Happy with these aside from one issue. I was looking for some sleeves for larger medium heavy and heavy action rods I have. And these do that trick, barley but they go one. My gripe is that they aren't long enough to use the elastic on the reel. Other then that they seem to be good quality and the red ones I ordered help make them a bit more visible so you aren't crushing eyelets.

These were listed for spinning rods but after reading reviews I decided to try them for my baitcasters. I have 3 baitcasters and was looking for different rod sleeves for quick identification of my baitcasters vs my spinning rods vs Hubby's rods, without resorting to pink rod protectors! I love these protectors & impressed with the quality. They are perfect for my baitcasters. They arrived super fast too considering they were shipped from USA to Canada.
