I did only 4 layers to my face as this was my first time trying it. Now that it's all healed, my pores are much smaller now, my skin looks more radiant. I left the jessner on my skin for over 18 hours.Dont peel the flaking skin but you can cut it.I use organic beef tallow to moisturize. My skin loves it after this.

I followed the instructions and it did not tingle nor frost.I waited a week to see if there would be any peeling before attempting again. No peel whatsoever.After the week of waiting I attempted again, this time I added 2 more layers to the original 3 and waited 10 min. No tingles. No burning. No frosting. I waited a week to see if it would peel and it did not.I've applied it again more layer and left it on without neutralizing it at all and still nothing.

I have fair skin and never had melasma, but twelve years ago, a dermatologist burned it with acid, trying to peel it off deeply. As a result I got bloody wounds and had to be treated on emergency. Finally my skin healed but I got big brown spots on cheeks and forehead, and my skin was terriby uneven. Since then, I've tried almost everything to vanish those spots, from several kinds of laser (didnt not work to me) to continous, repetitive peelings (they worked but it took years of going under treatment to improve). From my hard and long experience, the best results obtained were with products that peel off in a medium to deep extent, but dont result in crusts, as they tend to leave slightly dark spots, when they fall.I use daily a medical sunblock with a very high spf, and avoid sun the most. I make monthly peelings to my skin to clear the spots, I tried on glycolyc acid (not good enough), retinoic acid (so so) and God knows what else more, until I discover Amazon and bought this home peeling products. Every skin is individual and 25% tca peel did not work perfectly so I started to use Jessner's peel and got very satisfied, because the down time is less than other products and even so I go to work applying a sunblock and protecting myself with a hat, cause the side effects are more subtle looking. I am buying this formula by the second time.I will give you another secret, apply religiously PORCELANA night cream, even when you have applied Jessners. You will notice how they two work marvels together. Porcelana cream surprised as I never thought such an unexpensive cream, would be so good.Also, try to practice meditation, interior work is very important, try to discover what are the hidden and subconscious reasons provoking melasma on your skin. Healing inside is as important as treating yourself outside. Supplement with zinc, vitaminc c and keep on trying, although it seems to be very slow. A patient approach, always works well.After many years struggling with melasma, the brown spots almost have gone and are hardy noticeable without make up. I am just applying this formula to vanish them completely.

This is a great peel. I like that you can layer it and it's also anti-inflammatory.Because it gets stronger with each layer, there is less risk of hurting yourself. Some peels are just strong and a single layer is Med-Deep penetration. You can tell when you need to stop with this one. Just remember if you do a lot of layers you will have darkening of the skin and look like plastic for a few days... even after that dead skin peels you still have a day of looking like your skin is plastic till it normalizes and looks better than when you began.I use this for various things. The tops of my big toes have some thickened skin.. it doesn't look gross or anything but I'm using this to take off that callous texture. If you happen to have a white head when you do this peel, don't pop it. after the peel it will stay there but when your skin does peel, the whitehead just comes off and it's like you never had it. No scarring or marks.

I really like this companies integrity and ethics as they are forthright regarding the risk of using their product and the instructions they supply are very helpful but should be followed carefully.However, I have now purchased my second bottle of this peel as I am a testimonial to its effectiveness. I have had brown spots for years and the first time I used this product, my skin began to transform. The product takes about a few days or so to take effect once applied, however, once that does happen your skin will begin to peel and then generate new skin. The product directions do state that the spots (which are on my arms and legs) will hyperpigment and turn darker, which they did. However, after a week, the spots were already significantly lighter. I am one happy customer!

I ordered this product before and it worked great so I ordered it again. This time the product did not work at all like before. I put several layers (up to 8) and it did not frost as it has before in the past or lift my pigment. I basically did a peel for no benefits. Very disappointed this time around.

You use this before doing a TCA overlay peel and it makes a big difference,
