Bear's book is pure comfort. a balm for the soul which helps to make sense of the bible in a way that both guides and comforts.

I bought this book hoping for some inspiration to get closer to God and also to learn more about the bible.I was very impressed. It's very easy to read and just full of little gems of knowledge on every page.When I'm stuck for inspiration/ feel in a rut, I always go back to this book and find comfort in it.Thank you. Would definitely recommend.

I never thought that I would buy a Bear Grylls book but this is so so good. A lot of devotional books are a bit, not sure of the right word non inspirational? Not this one, it's down to earth and any one can understand it . Probably the best book I will ever buy.

This is such a brilliant devotional and I have loved the past year of reading a passage every day. The passages are concise, down to earth but powerful. It has been comforting, strengthening and empowering and full of love. The only thing I'd change is the latest cover - I have the original hardback which I love the cover of. For me, the current paperback cover gives the impression the book is all about Bear but it's not, it's about Jesus, and I am sure it's not Bear's intention for it to be seen as about himself. But I highly highly recommend the book itself - thank you Bear for taking the time to write this. It has been so helpful this past year.

Soul Fuel is a fantastic book for daily, weekly or "now and then" inspiration and reflections on life and meaning. Bear Grylls has written it from the heart, personally, humbly, and without any filters. It's a book with 11 parts (Hope, Purpose, Determination, Relationships, Vision, Wisdom, Faithfulness, Courage, Forgiveness, Freedom, and Risk), which can be read independently and mixed. Every devotional is quick and easy to read with it's <1 page bite size (about 0.5-2 minutes read/devotion). A perfect book to read morning, evening or one the run. (The book is physically very light.)
