Ann CameronJulian's Glorious Summer (A Stepping Stone Book)

Bought a several of these Julian books for my son to read over the summer. I have him read to me daily and he laughs when he reads or has an added story to tell. He’s 9 and loves these books.

Among other books, I gave this book as a Christmas gift to an 8 year old named Julian. He was so excited to see someone like himself having adventures in a book, and it took a little bit to convince him we didn't write the book just for him. He was a happy little reader that evening and that was my goal. The story was entertaining and kept him interested. Looking forward to exploring the other books in this series.

I love the Julian stories and purchased this for my 7 year old grandson. As a former second grade teacher, I highly recommend Ann Cameron's Julian series as for 6-9 year olds. The books are high interest, very funny and were loved by my second graders.

My children love chapter books. This one has plenty of cute pictures. We like the jokes at the back of the book too.
