Cheap yet good
For the price the pants are great, they are cheap yet lined and you will find a hard time buying a pair of regular pants at this price let alone with a lining. I went around to the local stores trying to buy a pair as the winters here in North Dakota are very brutal, they are a lesson in pain management for the most part. Anyways going around prices where anywhere from $60-$100 for lined pants and I was not to pleased about it ($60 being the cheapest I could find). I was going to buy a pair of the cheap ones just to try and they where out of my size so I gave up and decided to check her.I ran into these which seemed to have good ratings so I bought a pair (a size up) with the expectation they would shrink a little once washed (they did not so for me the sizes seem true). Anyways I've been wearing them as of late and they have preformed well, for being lined they have a good degree of movement and flexibility overall. North Dakota is known for it's insane temp shifts from season to season (120 being achievable in summer) with winter lows in -60 area. That for the most part is the lowest of the lows and is a temp shift of 180 degrees. These pant's have done me well in the single digits while they may not be warm if you spend hours outside I can throw them on and shovel the drive way, and our side walk without feeling cold in the single digits. For the most part our winters average about -40 for months at a time (just the way it is) and this city rivals Fairbanks Alaska for the coldest winters in the US. In the negatives tho these will not be enough alone, while they do a great job of blocking strong wind they are not made for -40 weather and to be fair nothing alone really is. I have learned that throwing on a pair of thermals under these can go a long way towards staying warm and for the price I am rather impressed with these pants. I would be impressed if I paid $50 as they just keep me warm and that's what I wanted. Warmth can be subjective tho so it can be hard to say what is warm for me may not be warm for others. So I will end it with saying in the single digits I remain comfortable in them out doors for about 45 mins. I do not know how well they will fair if they get wet which is kinda unavoidable after awhile in winter but I am pleased with this purchase.

Mine was toooo large.. trying again :-)
Product: The Dakota Regular Fit 40w x 32LI'm a 40w.. actually 39.The tags are all correct, yet these are way too wide.. they measure 45"w after a super HOT washing and drying. The length is fine.I'm going to roll the dice and see if I can find a 38w in this same brand / Dakota model.. see how that goes.I think a 36w would be too steep of a gamble however, the math on this one kinda dictates a 36w labeled product to achieve 40 or 41.. we'll see. I'll try a 38 first if I can find one.

Husband LOVES them!!!
We were going on a Christmas Toy Run and don't have motorcycle chaps, bought these and he stayed warm & dry! I might add, the rain was mostly drizzle or thrown up from the road, but that can be pretty miserable!!

Super warm jeans with one surprise:
We have had some record breaking cold days this winter, but these jeans kept me very warm. The only seeming downside was that when washing them they have to be allowed to drip dry. The big surprise was that they did so in just a few hours rather than needing to do so all night. I also have the tan pair, and they are just as comfortable to wear.

If you need a little bit of added warmth these are the ticket!
This is my 3rd pair of these pants. They wear very well. Provide added warmth during our moderate winter months. Not really a summer pant, but good for the other three seasons.
