Sturdy and wipes well
This aid is very strong. It is easy to attach the toilet paper, if you use the technique several reviewers have mentioned; wrapping several layers around the head rather than bunching it up into a ball. The head is shaped very well to help cleaning, and holds the toilet paper well. In fact, it is better than the higher priced aid I also bought at the same time. The only difficulty might be in how the release works for dropping the toilet paper. Be sure you can push with one or both hands. Some folks with hand or joint issues might prefer a squeeze release style aid. That higher priced aid I mentioned has a squeeze release that works better for my wife, who has 'King Arthur' in her hands.

Do not buy this product!!!
Well to start if I give it anything less then 1 star I would had but Amazon wont let you. I tried using this self wipe assist bottom wiping toliet aid and I say the word assist very lightly because it has to be one of the most awkward things to use especially if you have any type of medical or trauma situation to need the help for a tool like this. The design of it is not user friendly and the "quick release" is not quick at all. In order for the toilet paper to stay on the tool you have to put it in the little opening and then wrap the toliet paper around it like a million times in order not to make a mess and then you use so much excess toilet paper. It's not worth the money at all.

Great for when you throw your back out and cant reach.
Works great for when your back doesn't want to cooperate with you. Better than the rope burn from flossing your bum with industrial paper towels.

the toilet paper doesn't always stay in place
I think it's a good product. Just a suggestion to make the hole to put the toilet paper in either deeper or add a clip to keep the toilet paper secure.

Better than the cheaper version
Better than the cheaper version by far, but needs to be longer. The cheaper one rusts inside and breaks quickly. This one is still perfect as the day I opened it, made of much sturdier stuff.
