KaKu LNB 5 for Slimline Dish Directv Brand

The unit I received did not look exactly as above, but works PERFECTLY. It has the DirecTV logo on it, and is only missing the plastic piece on the far right of the photo above. The plastic was nearly white, and not clear as in the photo, but after swapping out, I have stronger signal readings. I hope this helps to prevent the "rain fade" that plagued my 11 year old, cracked, worn LNB. Buy this NOW if you keep getting dropouts, if your LNB is dry rotted, or if you keep losing signal. Fixed my problem and arrived in ONE DAY! I ordered it on Sunday at 2PM and it was on my doorstep at 3PM on Monday (today). Thanks Amazon!!

After loosing HD channels and ruling out dish alignment as being the issue, I ordered a new KaKu LNB for Slimline 5 Directv dish. New LNB installed easily and works perfectly. Thanks!

Solved all problems with a ten year old lnb picture was flickering and dropping in and out on a couple of receivers even when I had good signal strength on transponders 85 to 100 now all transponders are 95 or more l have d protection plan but decided to fix myself because they always get to charge you somehow don't know way we have to insure their stuff anyway only issue was it should be shipped in a bigger box with some packing around it box was the exact same size as the lnb the box was smashed don't how the lnb survived with only a tiny crack in the gray d tv logo plastic cover

I have 2 older DVR receivers, which means a total of 4 tuners. One of the DVR's was getting NO signal on sat-99 and 103 on tuner #2 ONLY. Tuner 1 was OK. These sats carry the local channels. After testing all of my wiring and even installing new B-Band filters, this was my last thing to replace. It fixed that problem and all of the sats seem to be received better, along with a good dish pointing. I'll keep this old system on life support then get a SWM system, new dvr's and a switch after Covid-19.

Needed a replacement LNB, it was not that the old one was bad, but it did need an upgrade as mine only had one receiving device on it. It was simple to install, if only the re-positioning of the satellite would have been easier.It turned out to a good thing that could not find signal though as had Directv send tech and they got it done quickly and install another stabilizing bar so the dish will not move around in the wind so much.Glad that taking the risk that it would not work was worth the worry, great product.

As advertised, this was a brand new Rev2 5LNB.This is for the old non-swm systems. I have a mix of HD and SD receivers attached, including a 6x8 multiswitch following it and signal levels are great,no dropouts of video.Swapped it out in 5 minutes and boom, now I can see all the satellites. I had been missing 99 and 103 with my old LNBand no amount of aligning fixed it.

Useless item received. The sale item was 4-wire-nonswm LNB for DirectTV. Received 1-wire-swm that is useless for 4 wire installation.Merchant failed to replace it and failed to refund.

I ordered mine from Vista Distributing and it came pretty fast. Works perfectly. A little less than a service call and better than dealing with DirecTV. I was missing certain channels (and yes DTV everything WAS plugged in). BTW...I can't help but think that if Directv didn't have a pair of recruiters in every Walmart and Sam's club (among other places) that my bill could be a whole lot less.

No es el que solicite de acuerdo a la foto y hasta la fecha no he podido ubicar el satélite 110 por lo que no veo algunos canales hablé con ellos y no me dieron mucha asesoría es de mayor calidad el que yo tenía originalmente y es como el que viene en la foto por eso hice el pedido por lo que deberían de poner los dos modelos para escoger ellos mandaron lo que quisieron sin ninguna notificación
