Unfortunately, I've found when it rains it's really difficult to see through this clear plastic protection!!! The idea is great but in practice it just doesn't work. Especially when it's dark as well. The clear plastic also gets cloudy. Sorry to be negative as I thought this was a super brillliant idea and exactly what I needed as umbrella's tend to knock others and also if windy get blown back. Unfortunately it isn't that useful.

My initial review was 1 Star and not to buy as couldn't see through the visor..HOWEVER!! Have now retracted and upgrade review..it does help if you remove the protective film covering both sides of the visor..It served it's purpose really well.

Very good sun and rain protection. Adjustable velcro strap inside to adjust the circumference slightly.Reinforced brim to give opportunity to shaoeit as desired. Waterproof, water just beads off it.Loveky colour. Comhats do make very good quality hats. I'm a bit of a hat expert as I have rosacea and need to keep the uv off my face. I have bought many hats in an attempt to find comfort, practicality, protection and hopefully looking not too bad too. Comhats is surprisingly a very good hat maker. Many other hats are not deep enough and fly off in slightest breeze. Comhats are functionable as well as looking nice.

We have now had 5 of these for various family members (adults and children). The quality of the ones we got was excellent. The field of vision is great. The hat doesn't blow off. Also plenty of room for a face mask underneath.

This thing is extremely dorky looking. I feel embarrassed putting it on near people I might know. But it keeps me completely dry down to where my jacket begins, and it's the perfect solution for biking in the rain.Other commenters are right, you have to remove the protective film on BOTH sides. After that, it's as transparent as you are likely to get. My breath fogs it, but that's inevitable without some sort of snorkel.

I am a wheelchair user so it’s not possible for me to use an umbrella. This hat is genius. I can wear my glasses and still see, my face no longer gets beaten with rain and my neck stays dry. Like others have said you must remove the plastic film from both sides of the visor to give a clear view.

Hat is very flimsy. You need the chin strap to keep it on. Strap really uncomfortable on skin, digs in as you need to pull tight to stop the hat blowing away in the wind. The brim looks stupid as it has a bend in it from being folded. The bend will not unbend. So for the price I paid I feel disappointed. Would not recommend.

Effectively it is two hats - one on top of the other. Fine but the plastic one doesn't stay on as well as I would like. However, at least it means the waterproof one can be used on other hats.
